Put me down for interwar civilians as well. Given the flexibility of plastic kits, there may be less need to lock them into “gangsters”. Guys in suits or casual dress could be mobsters, investigators, explorers or just plain folks. What head, arm and equipment options are provided make a great deal of difference (Tommy gun is probably a mobster or G-Man… pith helmet and a map is probably an explorer.)
Female fashion varied more from the 20’s to the 30’s but there is overlap, especially outside of the fashionable set.
On the other hand… a Gangster sprue with guys AND dolls, or an Explorer sprue with exotic options like pet monkeys and weird temple stuff would be cool.

Loved the ideas of Naval landing party plus an opposable thumbs up for the otters , captain Nemo types , buck Roger’s, flash gordon .
The rocketeers was a brilliant suggestion . More scenic items as stls …. more female figures but not in victim/hostage/sacrifice modes , more along the lines of well armed and dangerous

I mirror what others have said in 1920-1950s era gangsters, cultists, policemen and investigators along with some pulp science fair like monsters and vigilantes. I have a few of the partisan dets, but they are lacking in Fedoras and other hats.

A modular set of 1920’s Call of Cthulhu investigators.

What about Deep ones from the Lovecraft mythos.

Would love a plastic set of 50’s inspired astronauts ; think Forbidden Planet, Nuka Girl etc. I also think there’s a gap for a plastic set of robots. You could fit so many options on a sprue to let people go wild creating things, though you’d have to lean into versatility. I like the zombies, but they do look samey. Why not have 5 different torsos, 10 radically different heads etc.

All the previous mentioned plus some “contraptions” Boxes of dynamite, mad scientist Table, Frankenstein type of laboratory stuff maybe? Oh and don’t forget about “Weird West” a mutant cowboy or two?

Scott Beil - December 14, 2024

I think some 1920 – 1940 gangsters, from big bosses to lowly errand boys. An assortment of weapons would be great to , pistols, Tommy guns even a sawed off shotgun.

I would love a box of generic male and female Luchadors and Luchadoras in the style of old El Santo and Blue Demon movies. They can have head options to make them into wrestlers, masked and unmasked, generic superheroes and mystery men, or denizens of alien worlds/moons/undersea or underground kingdoms from old serials. Their arms would include punching, posing, and grappling poses as well as a selection of conventional pistols and ray guns. Various accessories could include capes and belts.

A box of robed cultists (male and female bodies). Different head options (masked, unmasked European, unmasked Asians). Different weapon options.

Also a box of space rangers with ray guns and rocket packs.

A set of civilians which could also be used as investigators would be nice too.
