@JTam Really nice job tam you`ve got a talent for making your own characters I`m of to check out Stalingrad and see how you`re doing.
@Carsten Ohlsson Try Black Cat miniatures I`m sure they did Grey Heads.
@Charles Tottington Love the game, love the 190+ page rule book. Really love the 2x2 boards the scenery is so artistic not seen a bad board. The figures are pure delight, but the price`s are stupid...
@Charles Tottington No mate I`ve been giving it food for thought ,myself , and thinking of other bodies that might give, me Hippo or Elephant.
@JTam I had those in resin models with my Alien collection. Now I`ve sold the lot, but yes it`s nice to have civilian vehicles they would be way to big to have kept.
@William Redford Nice figures Bill, they look brilliant, looking forward to seeing them painted. They certainly will add some style to your collection.
New Kickstarter starts Oct 11. The link is not active yet, but will be the active link on 10/11, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darkmaenad/dark-maenad-empire-of-the-summer-sea ...
@Mark Dewis I agree for the most part on the Valkyries. I think the base sculpt is fine and the wings are good. But as @JTam said, the helmets kill it. On the bright side, they have unhelmeted hea...
@Alessio De Carolis I will see. I preordered the barbarians so should get them soon I hope. I will also have the new Scythian/Amazon girls from RDG gaming. I got my shipping notice thst they s...
@Estoc With a bit of GS and plasticard for the soles shouldn't be difficult made some primitive shoes
@William Redford Nice job, for better results you could always try the female barbarians' heads & torsos from Frostgrave, with plastic's flexibility shouldn't be difficult to adapt the upper to...
Excellent conversion, I hope they'll do a set of catapracts/clibanarii, their helmets were really cool, plus they would be perfect as early Byzantine cavalry. P.s. i saw a tutorial for textured pa...
@Mark Dewis I used DAP quick dry acrylic caulk that comes in a squeezable tube (similar consistency to tooth paste). Available at any hardware store here in the USA.
@BlutzeTo dear for my poor coffers, look at what you can get for that, but 100% bloody brilliant figure.

Still not a huge fan of the Valkyries. I think it's largely the helmets. It's a shame the plastics don't match the resin leader more... Who looks good: Sidenote - I got a few...
I'm in for the "Battle Party." I'm invisioning a Mordheim gang form the Tomb Kings/Arabia setting. I'll use the second box as a Christmas present. The sprue or two and resi...
Nicely done. Appreciate the first hand demonstration of compatibility.
@Geoff Maybury Am I the only one who thinks greenstuffing fur onto Orks would make for a good proxy for the ape men? I mean they already have ape like faces with the flat noses. Just sculpt some fu...
@Don Williams what are you using for basing filler there?
Just purchased another box of Irish Warriors (I've lost count on how many of these boxes I've built), and another box of Goths so I can get this conversion project under way. I will post pics of th...
Another great addition to this range. Please don't let this releae get in the way of the Franks, though. I really need those now! 😄
I've reported on this forum before that WA and GB plastic dark ages figures are wonderfully interchagable, allowing for lots of creative possibilities. This photo of a Goth chieftain (as yet unpain...
The Aravises look useful and are nice sculpts. The valkyries are not great sculpts, IMHO. I'm having flashbacks to WGF Amazons... Looks like there's a veil and non-veil version of each head in the...
Those are nice. Probably a little pricey for me to justify now that I have 10 Pocket Titans, though.

That my brother is brilliant. Tapestry filled it`s great thanks.
@Mark Dewis well close but no cigar I guess. I found a site called steelfist miniatures that sells cast Yari but they are low on stock. I wrote them to find out if they can cast some more. ...
I think Reaper has some Reaper Bones “Greys”... 👽
This relaunched. KICKSTARTER LINK. I am in again at the Garrison army level. Though now they have little $10 sets that net you 2 sprues of plastic and a resin leader.

The Germans look good. Like the guy with the grenade bundle. Looking forward to the French, game, and any other further updates.
@Geoff Maybury Sci Fi tractor would be a great kit. Tons of uses: Terrain, objectives, Necromunda, Genestealer Cults, Death Korps of Krieg artillery tractor, etc., etc.
