@Andrew Stoeckle Why do these remind me of Warhammer 40k Orks?
@Andrew Stoeckle Why do these remind me of Warhammer 40k Orks?
They still look very spanish, why not just call them Caballeros (the spanish word for knight) with rough date and be done with it. You could also just label them as knights or noble cavalry with ro...
@Hudson Adams That is fine, Rome is kinda of an overdone topic.
Here is a link to my live comba witch Q&A. https://youtube.com/live/0fOtqDMIhyM?feature=share
looks like you can build both the Demi-lancers and the Reiters from that kit. but i'd go with Reiter, since that was the term used closer to the age of the conquistidors.
Following up on today's announcement that we are taking the Conquistador Cavalry set and going forward with two sets - one for Conquistadors and one for armored European cavalry...we have to decide...
@Mithril2098 Eureka have a great range of minis.
Sorry I missed this one! Jordan it's a great idea and something we've been working on. We probably won't debut any characters until 2025 though.
The plan going forward is to not only release new stuff but also flesh out more and more of the already released digital sets. So opponents to them, additional troop types, and other options like y...
@Mark Dewis Might of Rome may not go beyond what it is now. At least not for quite some time. So no digital plans for it. Maybe someday.
These guys look fun!
@Mithril2098 the exact introduction of guns to european warfare is somewhat debatable, but yeah 1200's is a tad early though they did seem to exist in China at that point and Firelances may have ma...
I thought that might have been what's going on. @Hudson Adams Hmmm... now that Might of Rome is a store category, are we getting a thirteenth monthly digital set? ;)
I recently joined the MMF tribe (Yay Centurion!) and it struck me that there's a lot of cross compatibility that would be really cool to see released at 3D print files. Specifically I'd love to se...
i don't know about handgunners.. those tend to be from later than the periods the baron's war ruleset focuses on. (which is the game those sets were designed around) but i agree that we'll probably...
I think that billmen, pikemen, crossbowmen, handgunners and fully armored men-at-arms with polearms are already covered elsewhere. I actually feel the need of more variations for the late XIV cent...
I made some progress on the new heretic warband I'm not sure if red was the right color choice for the masks but I'll stick with it.
Similar question that Eduard had. I am really looking forward to hearing more on these guys and the Insurgents!
latest works for the army:
How is this sprue going in the design process?
@Hudson Adams thats good, I think it would be a good idea to focus on the ones no one else is doing that you have in the library. Like non-European Armies, things that are not major WW2 powers and ...
Almost there! We'll be showing it all off this week.
We're getting away from themes for a little bit because there has been a general clamor to flesh out the units/armies that are already in the digital ranges. So we're trying to build more complete ...
I decided to give my heretics some fancy fur collars. As Tuomas Pirinen told me there are rumours of a heretic base at ultima Thule and I heard it's cold there I also started my sons New Ant...
My next group of heretics during assembly. The big guy is a GW stormcast with a puppetswar head and a giant sword made from sprue The heretic stormtroopers are made from WGA Italian...
I'm not sure if I just missed the announcement somewhere, but what is the theme of the May releases this year? So far the sets don't seem to fit into a single, coherent theme at all...
lovely work. very clean lines on the shields.
did you punch those using plasticard?
6 days to go. Wargames Atlantic is now opening this thread as a secondary entry point. You can either post your entries here or email the email listed in the OP of this thread.
I will be revivifying this thread and posting updates. I've decided to make some headway on the Aztec project so I can have visual aids to complete my book.
Just got the email about there being new tiers on MMF and I'm wondering if there's any advanced information those of us who 've been with the tribe since the beginning have access to?
Fireforge games stone realm armored torsos really work well with the historic scaled WW1/WW2 lines. Perfect for making armored elite troops
@Paul Mitting yeah for real. I love kitbashing and making dioramas and Wargames atlantic has been a godsend. And I have a house full of animals and a 6 yr old so getting a resin printer doesn't wor...
Kitbashing is by far my most favourite part of the hobby and TC is so inspiring. I made this fella from Warlord Games Grenadier legs and a G43, Oathmark Goblin arms, a perry War of the roses torso...
I saw a really creative paint job on Facebook for this set. Maybe we need some bigger laser guns and swords to go kill Duncan Idaho.
A one or two figure sprue with lots of extra heads and other options would be a great idea, especially for diehard kitbashers like me. I know that digital would be easier to produce but I want my m...
Even as an AT weapon, it should do extra damage to infantry.
So I think it would be awesome to get single sprue packs of heroes. Death Fields is my favorite product line so I'll make references and everything for that specifically but this really works acros...
I am having a similar experience with Only-Games. Feel oddly content that this isn't just happening to me. I have ordered before and did not seem to have major issues, but this time I r...
@Miyuso Actually I am pretty sure both the Afgahns and grognards infantry sets have the same sized half sprues once you take the model parts off. Cav might be a diffrent story.
@William Redford that's a very cool idea.
I have to be honest these were a pain in neck to build . Anyone else have any problems building these bugs? After 8 or 10 coats of paint I finally found the paint scheme I wanted. I am going...
Here is the supplement available from Warlord: https://www.warlordgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Bolt_Action_WWI_Supplement.pdf There one is also not bad: http://www.gajominis.com/rules/ba...
@Thomas Brewer I mostly used the version posted on the Warlord site. I have also seen a fan version as you said. They both need some tweeking. I found the cost of the Renault tank nee...
@Thomas Brewer more that if you look at sets like the Afghans, and compare it to say the Grognards, there are a bunch of different sizes of sprue. Curious as to how many options there could be, if ...
@Michael von Glahn. It seems I may have beaten you since I'm now at 51 days. Nothing back except two template responses from OG (either a copy/paste or a bot). I've asked for a full refund. OG are ...
