Italian Moto Guzzi Trialce or Benelli 500 M36. German motorcycle with sidecar. Or Russian. https://wargamesatlantic.com/community/xenforum/topic/85084/monthly-themes?page=2
I was leaning towards a WW2 Italian motorcycle with sidecar but found photographic evidence of use a little light. The German bike with sidecar is a classic. Great to go with the upcoming pl...
Supposed to be some drops today. Meanwhile more sneak peaks: Like the pelt. And the fantasy cultists:
'Nest' seems appropriate, though if I was joking I'd say 'a Problem'.
@Geoff Maybury Everytime I think about ordering from Onlygames I see a post from you that stops me. :) I hope they get better at this, or that WA finds someone better. Edit: Though personall...
The designs of these Wow, the Valkyries off the scale, I love them.
I know the Robots design is brilliant and its still the same thing and withnew figure sizes getting bigger and bigger it will fit in well some were. It`s just not going to work so nice with Wargame...
Thats what I got you can even make out the broken gun. Here is new with old
@Bill Thomas Really nice Bill you had a lot of none weapon arms, I`ll show you my lot. I`m 2 heads short 3 if they want to make me really happy, and by the laws of cobble if I`m lucky I`ll manage 9...
@Lord Marcus I will gladly inform you why I used the word 'pissed', the security robots are, in my opinion, one of the best designed robot sets on the market. Some person at Wargame Atlantic ...
Looks like the .stl files for the 'Bots got upgraded and rescaled after I got my physical models. I found that the physical Arena Security models were also a little large, seemingly based on...
@Charles Tottington Well, I've always hated Planet of the Ape's monkeys, one of the few alien races i'll exterminate with extreme prejudice (with the Posleen & Daleks), but Wolfmen-like aliens ...
@Mithril2098 This could be a great idea for sci-fi light/recce troops, after all, with the devastating firepower a single unit can have, it's perfectly logical that such an advanced recce troop wou...
Most anoying thing is we got the lovely robots that we asked for way back on the forum, Some one really listened to our requests and made the perfect robot, Man sized like "Gods and men" , Chappie"...
@Dennis Horne I did print them. The running fellow looked like he was doing stretches when I tried to glue him down at first, so I decided to get some wire and mount him mid stride in a run. He en...
Indeed those replacements are much larger (and consistent with the original publicity drawings). The new heads come with necks (unlike my original figures). They need to send everyone who was sup...
@Red Bee Nice, I see the wire support for the running figure. Your 'Bot has neck for it's head. Did you print these yourself?
@Bill Thomas I've adopted a similar approach with my WA 'Bots Relacing the useless 'nanoheads' with expensive AnvInd ones I had to go out & purchase. I see your 'Bots have sprouted necks on th...
I had hoped there might be a Minotaur in that range, but it appears not. You could convert the Satyr I guess.
@Red Bee and in an emergency, the Ogres can fling the... 'flings.
Given the scythe arms, maybe a Reaping of Harvesters?
A group of locusts is called a "Plague". I think that would be fitting for the Harvesters
A Halfling/ Ogre alliance sounds unstoppable. You got the slingers at range and the brutes upfront. Love it!
My Security Team; a combo of Death Fields Arena Seurity and Alien Heads. I thought it made more sense to have aliens act as Security. You wouldn't want to risk the tallent, would you?
A pack? Pod? A skirtering? A hive? Anyways, I had to show off my first spru.. these guys look fantastic IRL. Big props to the modeler. Poor unfortunate Rebel made the wrong turn ...
@JTam I also have Escher, If you were thinking of using these in Necromunda.
@JTam I posted these last week. I can take some more pics tomorrow. I have GW Dark elves, Nemarti, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Firstborn Marines, Chaos (warhammer and 40K) and Slaanesh AoS. Did you have any...
Quite the force. Any chance you could take some size comparison pic with any other WGA, Games Workshop, or Perry miniatures you have handy? Thank You!
Ye old Aerosan. https://wargamesatlantic.com/community/xenforum/topic/50724/discussion-small-ww2-vehicles-whch-could-get-released
@JJ McClure LOL. Disregard my idea then.
I purchsed the 5 box deal. Pictured below is 3 boxes. There is also a 3D printed Ogre captain and 2 GW ogor cat-beast riders. So Far: * Ogre Captain with bodyguard * 2 Catbeast riders * 1...
@Geoff Maybury Why is that worth getting "pissed" over. I understand the frustration that comes with recieved miss-sized parts. "Pissed", in my personal opinion, implies active anger. Spend...
@JTam either but I am not looking at the ravenwing bits.
For WW2 actually found something even better for the "chariot" theme: Moto Guzzi Trialce And/or the Benelli 500 M36: Would be a super cool kit that would nicely augment the WGA WW2...
They probably started printing them a bit bigger to make the thin weapon barrels a bit more survivable. That's fine but it does you no good to have replacement parts printed 20% bigger...
@Geoff Maybury What a dumpster fire.
The original are pure magic, look how thy go with the Eisenkern probably one of the best sets and the would have been perfect with the OH-Rah. Now the guns bigger than a figure they are more 1/32 s...
Slavic factions in history rarely found success with super-heavy units in the way that, for example, France did with the Medieval Knight, so I think it would be more fitting for a futuristic Polish...
At a time when all I wished to do was enjoy these brilliant robots my messed up order from 18th Decenber`s missing parts arrived Tuesday . Like a kid in a candy store smiling from ear to ear I open...
Really glad that things are working for you all, I`ve been off in the real world tied up with health cheaks so Iv`e missed the forum, I`m a bit pissed off actualy see my new post coming now " Robot...
@JJ McClure Power armored or non-power armored Infantry?
I assume winged hussars would be the most obvious theme for Death Fields. The recently previewed Valkyrie's wings might be useful to add to an existing design once they are available. &nbs...
to be honest.. i'd love something like the Birrin.. something that is very much not based on terrestrial body types, but which is just close enough you can imagine the biomechanics of how they shou...
Does anyone know of a line of futuistic troopers in the polish lithuanian commonwealth? Failing that any ideas for kit bashing that might work?
For the Great War - the Tachanka! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachanka https://youtu.be/XDfzsdZ9I5g Must include bonus Anka the machine gunner mini. https://en.m.wikipedia...
honestly, in historicals, i'm not sure. most of my projects there are already covered by existing WGA range or one of the other companies. from a scifi perspective, i'd love to see a 'stealth spec...
@Alessio De Carolis hell yeah, give me my early Samurai accompanied by Kappa, bakemono, oni, tengu, kitsune.......
Don't forget recoil's problem, for an anti-G tank you should've something to compensate for a normal gun's recoil, contrary to rail guns or Lasers, otherwise the tank will end as the one on "Sgt. B...
Well, some pre-Sengoku era samurais & ashigarus could be interesting, expecially if they're placed in a fantasy scenario, with Onis and various demons of japan's legends.
Chariot Clock terrain piece for Imperial Conquests. Something like this: Mixed with this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chariot_clock
