Imperial Guard Project

After a somewhat longer crusade in the trenches I'm back at my personal favourite kitbash theme: homebrew Imperial Guard Regiments.
The first Trio is made from leftovers of All my different projects (but more are on the way as I write this). I used Ooh Rah bodies, WW2 Italian heads and upgrade Sprue weapons. In addition to this the leader wields a grognard sabre.
Last but not least a comparison shoot with one of his adversaries. What I like about the more realistic proportions and the less heroic approach is that Astartes really tower over mortals.

My Guard Regiment lacks a bit in anti armour capabilities, so I decided to give em some needed AT punch.
I made the AT Team with the usual Ooh Rah, Upgrade sprue and Stargrave parts.
The Plasma Cannon is made from a sponson Gun from a cheap 3D printed tank, cardboard, sprue, rectangular bases, toy wheels and some bits from the bits Box.

Bad news for the guard regiment... an Inquisitor decided to requisition the local forces for his purpose....
This friendly uncle began his life as a Valkir Trooper. I just added a few GW bits and swapped his head with a Fireforge games stone realm one.
