Ooh Rah Planning to "Get Some"

The Ooh Rah are a relatively new team to the Death Fields Circuit having only been established a little over a century ago. Comprised of members of the 33rd Marine Expeditionary Unit, the team was abducted during a colonial uprising on New Florida. An upcoming star on the circuit, the Ooh Rah bring the highly-trained and multi-disciplinary approach honed into them as America's force-in-readiness across her expanding interstellar empire (still thousands of light years from true galactic civilization) They are a team to watch.

As we prepare this new faction for Death Fields, we have outfitted them with standard rifles (including underslung grenade launcher), pistols, shotguns, and a squad support weapon. What other weapon types would you like us to try to include in the set? Comment below or in the forum.

Please note only one head type is shown here. There are several others.

As long as we have the drake and Vasquez heads with the long guns based on the m249 I’d be happy:)

Are the guns meant to be lasguns? I’d like to use these guys as guard veterans and the RO spacenam dudes as the basic rank and file

A bolter-esque, high caliber assault rifle would be nice.

Anti tank missile launchers and light mounted machine guns (or rapid fire laser gun… something big for spraying infantry)

I’ll probably mention this again on some other kits if I see it, but I personally would strongly recommend for all sci-fi and modern kits (excluding WWI and II) that for the gun-holding arm/hand options that are not actively shooting or aiming you take the index finger off of the trigger. It’s a very basic thing that most people in miniatures, art, video-games, TV, movies- almost all media and beyond- completely neglect, often due to a lack of knowledge about the fundamental rules of firearm safety, but it goes a LONG way to setting whatever it is you’ve made apart from the ‘herd’ without really shifting aesthetics or anything significant while portraying your subject matter as more competent than they would otherwise appear.

Why not save on sprue space by combining special weapons?

Have a weapon “stock” with a large box magazine which you then can either put a machine gun barrel/front end on, or a grenade launcher.

Same for a weapon that could have a melta style muzzle, or a plasma gun style muzzel.

That is if it means we can get more special weapons per box, or it can save room for other items to go on the sprue.

Those “Garters” could be built in self activating tourniquets. They are strategically placed at key artery spots depending where the leg is wounded. I have read several scifi war stories where this is used.

Looked again, I think those are pistol holster on the right side…

So again, my one issue is those garters on the upper legs. Sadly, those make these a no go for me :(

Guns look a little too big.

Whats with those garters on the upper thighs?

They should all have pistol holsters.
