There's a mention along the lines of "and war dogs if we can fit them on the sprue", I would have to throw in my view of that the set should include them before trying to get the set to double as R...

Up for pre-production order now! https://wargamesatlantic.com/products/conquistador-cavalry
@Dennis Horne just ignore them. There is little chance the app developer will make a fix.
Do you scratchbuild your own terrain and buildings? Show it off here!
Aside from Plastic kits. (1/48 too large, perhaps look at 1/56 scale ?) Look at other materials (mosy of these trade on EBay/Etsy) Mdf kits : Warbases Sarrissa Bespoke Resin: Pa...
I believe there was a past gladiator thread that covered the issues being discussed here.
@Brian Van De Walker I agree that it would be difficult to get one set to cover all the different Gladiator types, but you could include enough variations on 5 to 6 bodies with arm and head options...
Relaxed stand Most of the time soldiers on the battlefield are not in combat but waiting for something to happen. In this time they await the coming, relaxing as good as they can. They would be in...
So this thread is meant to be a collaborative one where we share the various vehicle sources we've run across, which can be combined with the Deathfields figures to create more interesting armies i...
Those 'undefined' posts are still there.
@Hudson Adams (thinks about all the "Sure they well, 🤣" comments I have received and looks at where GW is in the dumpsterfire) Nah, I think you need to strike while the iron is still hot on t...
@Paul Mitting there isn't becuase sadly they are kinda of bad idea for a plastic set for weird reasons once you look at them critically, at least if we are talking historical (basically too many ty...
@Krisps It would actually make more sense to have a crossbow in this set than a pistol historically if rang weapons are must. I really think they should just do this as is and then do a fantasy STL...
Could work as well, though Blu-tak can eat plasstic if left on too long.I'd probably just fill the bodies with modeling epoxy (green stuff) or milliput to give a solid anchor point for magnets.
@Greaver Blade Drill into their armpits & hold the swappabe arm pairs with old school Blu-tak?
xenos rampant would be pretty good for your wide range of scifi
bought a sprue of this set to have a look and see if they are suitable for Through the Mud and the Blood. looks like the perfect ruleset for a couple of boxes of ww1 sets the one thing i'm not su...
Hard plastic Gladiators would be a brilliant choice and I don't think there are any currently available from other manufacturers. They could also make an interesting Death Fields faction, with the ...
Honestly, I wouldn't know of any that already have their own ranges like Warlord Games' Konflict 47 and Bolt Action. I mean it would be nice for them to move a chunk of their range from metal to p...
@Greaver Blade I didn't look at the digital section since I don't know how to use a 3D printer.
@Daniel Broaddus I think that used to be a thing. When I started playing Blood & Valor, the starter set was WGA Germans and French. Subsequently, that seems to no longer be the case.
I would recommend Firelock Games rules. Their skirmish games are the perfect match for WGA kits (especially the WW1 era kits and Victorian era stuff).
Technically, there's already a gladiators set:https://wargamesatlantic.com/products/spartacus-revolt-gladiators?_pos=1&_psq=Gladiator&_ss=e&_v=1.0But it would be nice to see them releas...
@Dennis Horne Living over an ocean is no excuse to avoid Adepticon. We get enough people from Australia and Japan to confirm that! The Vain/Ogres end up as three units of Elite Foot in Dragon Rampan...
Dont know why, seems I can only post one pic once.
Irish horsemen,ready for battle!
@Greaver Blade Being based in the UK, I am unlikely to be able to turn up. ;) You can field a 24 point, 30 figure XR Army out of one WA Cannon fodder box : 1* Command RCN Inf (2pts ) , Green (-...
It would be great to get a gladiator set from you folks. It seems that more and more skirmish games ether use them as the primary focus, or has them as an option for gangs/warbands. I would ...
A single mother supporting her family.
The game is still in Alpha playtesting, but Trench Crusade would be a fantastic addition considering that you folks have released a huge amount of fantastic kitbash material that works for the game...
Clealry there is far more money in sci-fi and fantasy type stuff than historical. So I can easily understand prioritizing that. Nonetheless, that doesn't really excuse announcing stuff and then not...
I think Nordic Weasel's games would be a great fit. I'm a fan of their solo sci-fi games (Weasel Tech and Five Parsecs from Home), but they have several other games in the fantasy and WW2 genres th...
Having the Quar (Qaur?) Rules on the site would be nice.
I would suggest reaching out to Osprey directly to see if they'd like to resell through WGA. They have an absurdly good collection of wargames for which WGA minis would be perfect. Given they are a...
As I've mentioned in a couple other threads, I'll be going to Adepticon 2024 in March. Is anybody else planning on going? If there's a decent enough group headed there, would anybody be interested i...
Building on the above, anybody else who would like to help organize a $100 Army Challenge, drop me a DM and we can start a group conversation as needed.
@Mithril2098 Realistically I'd start advertising the event well in advance of Adepticon 2025. And it's meant to be a pretty casual event; strict adherence to the limit won't be enforced. Instead, w...
@Brian Van De Walker Yep, I scoped out 3 different armies. Each can be done on a 3 box deal plus a few stargrave sprues from a sprue reseller. If you have a tame dealer, you may even get the...
@Greaver Blade the big issue i can see with a "$100 challenge" at adepticon is the amount of record keeping needed to ensure that they don't exceed the limit. plus the fact that it would restrict t...
@Andy Smith A triumph of kitbashing, sir.
@Thomas Kelley
@Bryn Smith I'd like to say the skulls at the front of his base are an excellent touch.
Sounding off to say I would also like the option to arm them with at least a pistol if not two per rider (I'm just going to assume the sprue would be too cramped already for 2 pistols per man x5, o...
We've been adding lots of digital publications to the Atlantic Digital part of the site. If you know someone who's a rules writer and/or you have a favorite set that's being sold elsewhere in PDF f...
@Greaver Blade Yeah supposedly Antares 2e is less model specific (I would give them a good look over first to see if that is the case, they are free to download, from my skim it looked ...
@Lord Marcus Thanks! BTW: I managed to repair the Goth arms using the newest Prusa Slicer. That one can open and re-export the files. So no need to hurry for me anymore :-)
I did my part today. Trying to make a chinese (cathay) themed tomb kings army, and these warring states miniatures would be great for bulking out the army.
@Coronasan LoftFullOfLead Hey hey! You're here! I emailed a week or so back, so it's great to see an update.Let's coordinate photos. I'd be happy to take pictures of my stuff and my friends' stuff ...
