Damned heavy infantry flamethrower.

  • Greetings, fine folks of this forum!

I've recently received my pledge for The Damned, and am currently attempting to assemble the heavy infantry. I am struggling, however, to match the flamethrower labeled F1 with the correct arm, although there is a wire labelled F2, implying it is for the flamethrower. After examining the sprues and failing to find a matching left arm, I went to the post on the gamefound page about the heavy infantry (update 37) and found this picture of the flamethrower arm and it's matching arm.

Going back to the sprue I found what I believed to be that same left arm on the sprue (circled in red, flamethrower f1 and labelled wire f2 circled in yellow), and removed these parts from the sprue.

This preamble leads me to where I am now: Sat looking at the circled parts, unable to figure out how to connect them together. I have therefore come to you good people to ask: has anyone else encountered the same issue while assembling these, and if so, what was the solution? Are one or more parts on this sprue labelled incorrectly, and if so, are there any other parts that are missing or have incorrect labels which I should watch out for while assembling my pledge? How do these arms fit together, if at all?

TLDR: I think some of the parts on the heavy infantry sprue might be labelled incorrectly, and am having difficulty assembling the flamethrower, could use advice from anyone who's already dealt with this issue.

  • Update: I've noticed what appears to be a second mislabelling on this sprue. There is a rifle labelled "P1", which I think matches with an arm labelled "B2", rather than either both being labelled B or both being labelled P.

  • Sat down to assemble a heavy with flamethrower just now and noticed this same issue.  That unlabeled left arm does seem to go with the flamethrower but there doesn't seem to be a specific spot to connect the handle.  I assume you would either glue it to the side of the flamethrower barrel or in the gap between the corrugated hose and the circular hinge connecting the tank to the barrel.  I wanted a hand gripping the barrel instead so I found the left arm labeled E2 was close enough with a little trimming.

I'm going to use a greenstuff cable so I didn't try the cables labeled F2, sorry.  The ends on those cables look like the ones matching the laser rifles so I assume they are mislabeled.

  • @Guyovich there are cabels for the Flame Thrower? I thought the propane tank was all we needed?
