@Bill Thomas @Geoff Maybury Speaking of the Falklands, the latest issue of Wargames Illustrated has a nice article on painting British and Argentinian forces:
Very nice. Good job on the fancier hat too. Hopefully Death Fielda brings out a few more Command Squad/Heavy Weapon sets for making fancy characters with soon. Really like having unique le...
I like to think it's one of the "Humanity, F*** yeah!" type situations, where compared to most alien species mankind are ridiculously strong, fast, durable and powerful apex killing machines. &nbs...
@Geoff Maybury Its a Warmchine Cryx Kraken. A couple years back Privateer press was having a blind box sale where you got a starter set, a collosal and another unit or 2 for a steeply discounted pr...
@JTam aww. I guess those are cool... I just want more Death Fields
And the lizardmen. Also, there seems to possibly be an implication of aliens in the cannon fodder.
The classic Citadel Miniatures eastern hobgoblins are my perfect hogoblin. This is the style I'd like to see. They can be used for fantasy or mythic oni/dai-oni.
@William Redford Could you tell me what the Machine Creature? on the right of the Giant Snake, and Giant, is please? The one with the very big gun, and crab claws.
Good grief those faces are hideous! Well looks like the bodies can be used for other things (I hope).
@Wargame News and Terrain Comprehensive. Well researched. Well illustrated with built examples. The single best kit review I have ever seen. Well done. Thank You.
Review of the Great Escape Games female Gunfighters from the current issue of Wargames Illustrated:
I`m very guilty of Knowing little about these ranges, but the fact that the "Ooh Rah`s" are for deathfield, as made me have a look. The back lore is quite interesting, one thing that as shocked me ...
@Red Bee I believe the Valkir are the Valkir Heavy Troopers from the Iron-Core Universe. I liked where your speculation was going though....
@William Redford I believe "Modern 'Operators'" refers to just that..... modern "Operators". AKA Tier 1 "Special Forces" types. There's been some sneak peaks that appear to possi...
I'm a little underwhelmed by the female gunfighters too, as indeed the male box set was very good and allowed a lot of mix and match... the pistols arms seem a bit... well, okay, but nothing more a...
I was surprised to find wiki covers even ooh-rah and hoo-ah for the curious. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oorah https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooah I wonder if he term “Colonial Marines&r...
I think one of WGA’s strengths is their pricing. They trim costs by skipping things like instruction leaflets, shield transfers and bases which is a bit tough on new folks but really helps ve...
Like I said in the poll thread: I need all Death Fields! The Grognards and Einhenjar are so far my favorite sculpts and getting more of them would make me very happy. I would say I'd prefer to get...
Aside from the Conq cavalry, Ogres and female sets, I am kind of most interested in the army builder sets for Dark age and Rennaisance eras. I mean fantasy would be great too, but nothing has been ...
Cannon Fodder 2: Females T2 I will buy all female sets released as female bits in plastic are somewhat rare. Germanic Warrior Army Builder Layout I can use these in fantasy games... M...
@Red Bee I forgot Grognard Raptor Riders were an option. Now I'm wondering what Einjerjar calvary will be. And if all of the regiments can ride on any of the calvary options. @William Redford From ...
I wouldn't count the ogres out yet - a lot depends on how many votes it gets, and I don't think that a second- or third- or even fourth-place poll result necessarily write a set off from being rele...
I am interested in many things on that list... but am disapointed by the vote/poll. Why? Because it means that landsknecht ogres and Conquistador Cavalry arent guaranteed to be released this year a...
It let you vote for multiple in each category. I voted for "Ooh Rah" since I had no clue what it was and it was the only new one, But otherwise voted the same as charles.
I love all the Death Fields options, and will buy atleast one box of each when they come out. I bounced between Einhenjar, Grognards Raptor Riders, and Ooh Rah for a bit. Honestly, I don't know whi...
@Mark Dewis Where are the female gunfighters from?
So looking at the poll that released yesterday and voting on it, I have a few things to say. First off I am happy to see that Kobolds are an option in the poll, and yes I did vote for them. Second ...
The Treefolk sound like a barrel of fun - like the halflings, it sounds like exactly the sort of offbeat fantasy wargaming kit that almost nobody else is doing (I think Mantic has a set, but I wasn...
According to the latest update, there were some hurdles to clear as their USA manufacturing team caught up on a couple generations of experience with manufacturing that had been ceded to the Chines...
I am really loving the Ooh-Rah set. 👍 Lots of interesting titles scheduled for release. I have no idea when I am going to paint all these. I have been fascinated by the Sepoy Mutiny since I was a ...
Ooh, I didn't see the poll last night! (G-Men and Mobsters got my vote!) Interestingly, there's a few options on the poll that aren't actually in the Release Schedule (yet) - G-Men/Mobsters,...
@Yronimos Whateley Check out the Choose Our Future Releases Poll. WGA lays out almost all the cards on the table: Pretty certain WGA is going to have huge hit with the Grognard Rapto...
@Geoff Maybury @John Wilson This new set does look really good: Looks like it's definitely time for a Bug Hunt. Should be a very successful kit. Has broad appeal for 40K, Alie...

@Grumpy GnomeEileen refeirs to Mantic as the creamy figures. and says, please leave em, they`ve no definition, I think that fits for the old and sadly some new.
@Geoff Maybury Yeah the Bulldogs weren't great for me, although I'm probably going to pick up a box for the heads and then use the rest for something. Probably post apocalytpic as Canadian royalist...
@John Wilson Well John, the quallity of that new "Ooh Rah" set is damed amazing, really sorry that we got the retro British "Victorian Si/Fi", whilst our over the pond friends, get the supper delux...
@Yronimos Whateley Thompson SMG would be 1930 Mobsters and G men in the new poll I think.
This kit is looking better and better: "Mood: Gavotte-y!" To add to what @John Wilson mentioned about the Release Schedule, looks like the format has been updated, and a lot of ne...

@Michael Scott https://crossoverminiatures.com/product-category/minions/ I used the Crossover Miniature ones when Test of Honor first came out.
Thanks for the review! I got a kit of the Stargrave ladies the other day, and I agree completely with the review. I have a box of the wild west ladies in the mail, I'll see how those wo...

@William Redford Oh, that's wonderful! Thankfully the Artifact models are very affordable, they're about the same price as a comparable-sized miniature. I'm waiting on a Rick Dias from the 1st seri...
