Pretty neat, they all look like from a single unit despite being vastly different models! Love the grounded style and "out of trenches" vibe of army that fight a long campaign. Small tip, where's ...

@Brian Van De Walker I guess it's also a matter of lack of proof they've been used or lackluster mentions of the wings in the literature, like from the writers from the other side. Not sure though,...
Remember that "Husaria" as Polish heavy cavalry operating from 1500-1800 are quite different from many units called hussars under other nations - after that hussars remained on the battlefields fie...
I assumed using Renaissance heavy cav would be for historic hussars (like, nothing stops you from making a Death Fields unit out of Napoleonic minis with plasma weapons). Totally agree with Death F...
@Mithril2098 I thought the same, but unfortunately I doubt it could be done correctly with an upgrade sprue, or it would be to extensive. You probably could stick a pair of wings, but to get the f...
@Sir Nobody I think there's still quite a niche for the Polish Hussars minis. Victoria Miniatures had a sweet crowdfund for various cavalry units for WH40k proxies, including sci-fi Poli...
These dudes from Sneak peek almost make me to cancel a pre-order XD I'm torn.* I'm not sure if they had spears before? I really love the choice and the hefty CQB handgun!Anything about timeline?...
Ok, I have no idea why they put this weird filter on the promo image, it makes my head feel like melting. Here is a clear photo:
Looks pretty well and detailed honestly. I think a few details to close it's scale to 28mm like accessories, switching barrels to smaller ones and other tidbits (Night Shift on YT is pretty good at...
Swords&Pistols confirmed. Machineguns, rifles, launchers and flamers from generic set of Valkir confirmed. All classic helmets in the sets. Good set. Will get ...a few of them
@Mithril2098 on the contrary, all the sneak peeks shown heavy trooper gear only, but there's still a lot to discover on the matter (especially after the fact that a decade passed since the last rel...
Yeah, I mixed the names up - we could see heavy troop gear, no support variety.
Pre-order in 8 days AAAA Are they will be support kind only? Or we can count on more weapons types in the sprue? More Iron-Core was announced too aaaaaaaa
And I hope we get these angled helmets too. They are really what make this unit for me, the "stormtrooper" style is nice too, but I have bunch of these already in light infantry set.
@Greaver Blade if you don't subscribe to email you can also check sneak peek topic, I posted pics there. Can't wait!
The new addition to Iron Core seem to be closer than I expected! I have already started converting some Stormcast into my heavy knights to my homebrew order, but maybe there will be another...
@Mithril2098 I assume the grenade would be made very grenade-y for these to work! Shouldn't be a great leap to make fragmentation pieces visible. Or like something from last Brian's picture. Also s...
Awesome, your work is really inspiring - can't wait to see them painted. I also saw your other Ironcore captain conversion with grey coats unit. Gives me an idea how to use my French men as damned ...
Polish riot police used mosin and AK based grenade launchers, RWGŁ 1 and 3, small and rather unusual, perhaps usable in one hand in mini form
I don't have printer as well, but wanted to share talented creator who offer great, painting-oriented (not overly detailed or just made to look good on presentation page in grey) models that fits D...
Nate Feyma offers free and incredibly customisable wargame vehicles for their custom faction. They also come in some premium options, but free catalogue is enough to cover most basic needs of small...
Forum name: Drangir Submission name: Entry point Description: The CHWAT's mining cutters can produce hot plasma to melt through nearly any barrier known in the colonised systems. The rapid respon...
I'd love inclusion of pistols, but it's fully understandable it won't be on the frame. An upgrade frame to "empire-up" faction would be great and could allow some crazier options.
I think it's just a visual thing. No WA set but army builders have full models and it would make certain type of crews impossible to fit on the frame, especially with the command options within the...
@Dennis Horne It seems the weapons are the same types and sizes. Kneeling humans reach just over the upper rim, while dwarfs don't. (but damned ones are beaten up and stuff)
Medic/Engineer parts to make some utility guys would be great! Swords and other kinds of pistols - not sure about it, the axes seems pretty utilitarian in infantry set and status symbol in the C&am...
Renaissance range is historical, but mythical forces fitting the theme can be easily put under Fantasy line. I'd definitely like more in the range. Japanese and other european nations could work to...
@Gregor the Converter the only hard rule they've put, is that passing 1000 votes pushes the set to the front of production. Aside of that, it's mostly an interest gauge. The sets are in the product...
@Andreas Mayrhofer these comparison photos are godsend, thank you
https://twitter.com/WargameAtlantic/status/1679481806809100290?s=20 They've also published new horses. A splinter from Damned Outriders that needed some changes?I think I like models more (that dy...
@Benjamin Hayward I see the helmets were pulled down properly :D The new one is curious. Proportions and hairy feet suggests halflings strongly, but the outfit doesn't scream "modern" ...
They can call it a doomsday cult, but like Einharjar are sold as slaves kept on high G planet, but it's pretty obvious they're gonna be used as space dwarves one way or another. I don't pay much at...
@JTam They should send you something nice in your order for your work in the interwebs C:
@Jason Kennedy There was one of the LMGs from peek visible on the newer previews.
I guess they will land on backburner and we will see wave 2.0 or something like that they do with other lines.
More WiP than Sneak Peek - but damn, your sculpting skyrocketed recently! It's visible even in regard to JTam post from 2nd June - the current look of the heavy infantry is much better. I love vari...
I hope they'll find resources to do the mutation sprue. I'm not personally interested, but there's a void of such upgrade sprues in the market aside necromunda packs and bits sellers. Death fields ...
Yeah, myself I use a spray can for auto parts. With various success so far, but I'll get there. I don't see sense to use hobby sprays until you paint whole armies in a specific color.
All good tips. Without an airbrush or spray basing and varnishing minis is pain.
My little and very professional draft of the pledge... may change soon.
@Charles Tottington And a lot of infantry sets would be much more valuable and interesting with accompanying support sets. Doh, the only army with HQ module is in their bestseller! I'd also be more...
The pics are very small unfortunately D: What I can say that I like a color scheme, clothing fits well the dulled green of the scales!
@Brian Van De Walker Sorry if it was unclear. Technically, yeah, but it's not a hard differentiation. Ein~ are stylised and proportioned for wargaming, but they're also held back in general proport...
@Brian Van De Walker I mean, the design and accessories of loyalist factions aren't exactly nice and clean! Cadia sets from GW Can give that vibe of regular military force, but it's still full of s...
Recent explorator series from Anvil Industries have old school, round space helmets. They have slightly more heroic size BUT if we speak this theme it should work. Ooh raa has enclosed helmet. If ...
TBH I'd love to see other KS for other factions! Damned are great and I didn't expect to pledge as much as I did, but I'd love a bump to other factions. It would make them more attractive and incre...
@Alessio De Carolis Yup, that's my point. Making the Damned guns fit fresh and regular army would be a lot of work, cutting spikes and filling holes@JTam somehow half-asked the beastmen in the line...
