did you punch those using plasticard?
6 days to go. Wargames Atlantic is now opening this thread as a secondary entry point. You can either post your entries here or email the email listed in the OP of this thread.
I will be revivifying this thread and posting updates. I've decided to make some headway on the Aztec project so I can have visual aids to complete my book.
Just got the email about there being new tiers on MMF and I'm wondering if there's any advanced information those of us who 've been with the tribe since the beginning have access to?
Fireforge games stone realm armored torsos really work well with the historic scaled WW1/WW2 lines. Perfect for making armored elite troops
@Paul Mitting yeah for real. I love kitbashing and making dioramas and Wargames atlantic has been a godsend. And I have a house full of animals and a 6 yr old so getting a resin printer doesn't wor...
Kitbashing is by far my most favourite part of the hobby and TC is so inspiring. I made this fella from Warlord Games Grenadier legs and a G43, Oathmark Goblin arms, a perry War of the roses torso...
I saw a really creative paint job on Facebook for this set. Maybe we need some bigger laser guns and swords to go kill Duncan Idaho.
A one or two figure sprue with lots of extra heads and other options would be a great idea, especially for diehard kitbashers like me. I know that digital would be easier to produce but I want my m...
Even as an AT weapon, it should do extra damage to infantry.
So I think it would be awesome to get single sprue packs of heroes. Death Fields is my favorite product line so I'll make references and everything for that specifically but this really works acros...
I am having a similar experience with Only-Games. Feel oddly content that this isn't just happening to me. I have ordered before and did not seem to have major issues, but this time I r...
@Miyuso Actually I am pretty sure both the Afgahns and grognards infantry sets have the same sized half sprues once you take the model parts off. Cav might be a diffrent story.
@William Redford that's a very cool idea.
I have to be honest these were a pain in neck to build . Anyone else have any problems building these bugs? After 8 or 10 coats of paint I finally found the paint scheme I wanted. I am going...
Here is the supplement available from Warlord: https://www.warlordgames.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Bolt_Action_WWI_Supplement.pdf There one is also not bad: http://www.gajominis.com/rules/ba...
@Thomas Brewer I mostly used the version posted on the Warlord site. I have also seen a fan version as you said. They both need some tweeking. I found the cost of the Renault tank nee...
@Thomas Brewer more that if you look at sets like the Afghans, and compare it to say the Grognards, there are a bunch of different sizes of sprue. Curious as to how many options there could be, if ...
@Michael von Glahn. It seems I may have beaten you since I'm now at 51 days. Nothing back except two template responses from OG (either a copy/paste or a bot). I've asked for a full refund. OG are ...
@Mithril2098 I don't know, the carroccio is something that would be useful for fantasy gaming too, so... Maybe voxatlantic? Empire of Mali would be great, so would the Mongol's varous enemy/...
@Thomas Brewer I will post results here within 24 hours if a notice is posted on facebook for this contest and future.
@Bryn Smith Yes, just please note what you are using completely.
@Mithril2098 talking about Italy, making a box of pavise crossbowmen would be great. Or at least a plastic box of crossbowmen and a digital set with pavises and accurate helmets
@Thomas Brewer I believe there is even an FPW fan version of Boltaction out there ( which is not surprising).
@Hudson Adams We are holding you to that.
The actual frames are about the same size as warlord or fireforge frames, or older gw frames flr that matter. I'd look at individual product pages however, but they are sized to fit in the sa...
Did you use the fan made Great War army books for the game, or just the core rules and ww1 models? Either way is great, I'm sure, given that the gameplay loop of bolt action is so satisfying.
it's the right period, so could see it as a Digital release, i suspect it's too niche to see much plastic sales. looking around the italian states largely used gear similar tothe Normans that have...
When vehicles are added to Clash of Rhyfles it will make more sense! Its the only weapon in the quick start that can damage light armored vehicles.
It seems that the R4 Ryshi rifle is under powdered for the role it is fulfilling and based on it's description as a 20mm weapon. AM I missing something.
I'm really enjoying putting the BEF together but I'm being frustrated with rifle 5B as it doesn't seem to pair up well with arm L5. I've tried it on the standing and lying bodies but it just doesn'...
I enjoyed a great game of Great War Bolt Action this weekend with my friends. This was my first time running the game as a GM. I had six players and it was a great turn out. The scenario I devised ...
I'm curious, what sizes of Sprues are Wargames Atlantic using now, and are there other potential options down the line? I've seen Full Sprue kits, half sprue kits, and the head sprues, but what siz...
Hello, I wanted to inquire if miniatures in the new Foot Knights (1150-1320) box will work lined up on 25mm square bases, as a rank and flank unit? I think they may from looking at the promotional ...
Quick question, is it possible to include a non wargames atlantic model in the diorama? Alongside the wargames atlantic models f course.
Yes, I just didn't know the name, Thank you!
@Adam Worsdale I personally use the shield transfers from Relic miniatures. yes the shields ar kind of big but I like the Plumbata. I have the ones with the Chi Ro's on them and they look great. I ...
you mean a Carroccio?
Itroducing: The Merchants of Mayhem! Rookies in this season's Death Fields skirmish circuit. The Merchants of Mayhem are owned and operated by Gee-Yan Callo of Gee-Yan Callo's Used Transporation Co...
I know it may not be as "accurate" as some would like, but I would love a Holy Symbol Cart, something akin to the Great Cross used in Total War: Medieval 2. May be more Digital, but it would make f...
@jordan frank Good questions Jordan and we will start to REALLY answer them in the next couple months! Hint, hint.
https://wargamesandwalking.blogspot.com/2024/04/belloludi-vietnam.html?m=1
So with Death Fields, what is the scale of the battles? Are there different leagues for squad based skirmishes or full scale battles? And how uncommon would it be for a team owner to trade/buy indi...
@graham Ah, thanks for your reply. Iwas worried that was going to be the answer but was hoping for different. Cheers
OK, so update. Finally received my order from Only-Games today (4/16), 49 days after ordering back at the end of February. Condition of the ordered minis: the 2 halfling leaders are fine other than...
