@Mithril2098 Most of the WW2 model vehical kits out there have 2+ ways of building them, that is probably the way things will work.

@timbus the thirteenth almost for sure.
@thomas lapoint I would rather just have the earler Mongolian invasions samurai and foot troops.
@Mithril2098 Not going to lie, I think they should just have steamtanks and skip domisticated animal, but if your going to do them wagons and hodaws would be the fun way, I just don't see dwarfs as...
the whole sprue game seems a little messy thus far. i'm betting that they got a little overwhelmed by the amount of submissions.
@Piisami i agree, horses look weird with dwarves. i think part of what makes dwarves fun is their practicality. every dwarf should look ready to fight, eat, and mine an ore vein at the drop of a ha...
@Yronimos Whateley yeah, as it turns out the damned heavy infantry have the exact head i'm looking for! with the scavvies as a base, i should be set. thanks for the help. generally i agree that ge...
Personally I'm inclined to say dwarves shouldn't have cavalry. instead, if they're fighting on the surface, they should have war wagons or something. Maybe channel some hussite ideas, with armored ...
@Yronimos Whateley personally, I favor non-horse mounts for dwarves. Something off with the aesthetics of horses+dorfs. The yak is now my favorite, elephant was in pic because I was using ai tool t...
To start off, I want to say I am extremely happy with the recent release of lightly armored ashigaru. The addition of unarmored and Dō-maru armored archers and heads wearing happuri motivated me to...
I don't think that a conversion kit for non-WGA vehicle models would sell all that well. That said, you could easily do a WGA vehicle kit that includes two or more ways of building a tank.. one wit...
Actually given we are talking dwarves, you could turn the elephant/mammoth/big monster into walking tanks with cannons or ballistia howdas.
@Yronimos Whateley Given comments I think Hudson/Tony is burned out crowdfunds forever with good reason. Honestly I think they should do things like bikes, cavalry, specalists, vehicals ,etc...
@Yronimos Whateley Yeah, I think its actually just the first round of voting and only one catagory will win, I voted for Shaolin monks because they seemed the most fun and a number of the other opt...
The war "Oliphaunts" have been a fantasy classic since at least Tolkien's day, at least. Exotic cavalry of various sorts are at least as old as Lovecraft's Dreamlands, where zebras and weird ...
The turrets probably aren't THAT big a problem: I've transplanted turrets between tank kits lots of times, even mounting 1/72 scale turrets on 1/35 scale tank bodies and that sort of thing.&n...
I agree in principle, but I suppose it doesn't HAVE to matter, as long as we can rely on Wargame Atlantic to say "this popular entry sounds like it will be a successful product, it sounds like it'l...
@Mithril2098 Yeah that makes much more sense.
@MoonglowMinis not that intresting, there has been a lot of renewed interest in WW1 both in and out of miniature wargaming community, probably because the last decade (2014-2018) was its 100t...
Interesting stumbling on this in 2026. Seems like WW1 inspired games and settings had an explosion in recent years. Trench Crusade and The Last War being the obvious ones. But this premise, especial...
the cataphract thing got clarified by the submitter at least. he was thinking the selucid heavy cavalry based on the parthian forms of armored shock cav. which i'd forgotten were a thing (i am not ...
@Mithril2098 To be honest the Mongols showing up in both Age of Chivilary and the "dark age lines" polls was more of an issue for me.
@timbus the thirteenth The issue with doing vehicales merely as conversion parts like turrets is you actually need tank kits that work with them and there isn't really any standarization in model t...
@Mithril2098 Actually not surprised on this. That said on these particulars I think a few points need to made. You can make arguements on the Trojian war infantry, Mycenean heavy infan...
@Joe Dog They ditched that design for another vehicle called the Mauler now, and its more like an extra boxy 6 wheeled BTR 70 or an armored Tonka truck (you can take your pick on that one😆). @Yron...
Oh believe me, my army's being kitbashed to truly absurd levels. I made this post less to talk about what's available widely, and more just to get people's thoughts on death fields specifically, si...
By the way, I REALLY would not mind seeing the "Terra Motus" make its way in some form into plastic as e.g. a Cannon Fodder vehicle. And, those Damned mutant bits that were never put into plastic,...
Historic tank kits are absolutely an option. If you're lucky enough to have easy, affordable access to any of the 28mm kits - generally WWII - made for the Bolt Action game, those are certain...
sadly I don't own any raumjager arms, but I will say most of the smg isn't attached to anything. so if you wanted to extend the barrel or add a larger magazine, that wouldn't be hard at all.
Sponsons could definitely be built as add-on kits. Modular ones, fitting more than one specific kit, would be hard / require work from the assembler, but I reckon something like that could be done ...
@Piisami erm 🤣🤣😂 looks like cr*p they should be riding magitech motorcycles 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 saga could never 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 (in all seriousness thats a great idea and I love it. I think victrix is coming out with s...
K47 was exactly was I was thinking about, turrets-wise. I actually just got a handful of ww2 tanks that I'm turning into sci fi tanks using the grognard heavy weapons sprue. They look great so far,...
Been eyeing the einherjar and the raumjäger, but don't have anything to use them on so haven't yet bit the bullet. Probably gonna get some whenever I next order (when's Classic Fantasy Battles...
So I won't bother with answering all that, but I had another idea while working on my rpg stuff. The goats for Classic Fantasy Battles are nice and all, but how about... WAR YAKS!  ...
because some of the historicals catagories have been filled with entries that are the wrong era's, as well as duplicates. take for example the current 'first empires' voting.. Shaolin war...
My first tour in the US Army I was assigned to the "32nd Guards Motor Rifle Regiment" (OPFOR). We used Warsaw Pact equipment and US equipment visually modified to look like Warsaw Pact equipm...
Friends, romans, countrymen/women/otherwise. lend me your ears, for I am on a plane ride and have nothing better to do than yap on an esoteric wargaming forum about things few sane people care abou...
ohh, these guys look cool... hopefully with the new aliens we start to see more of the iron core universe.
I'm with brian on this one, derringers feel pretty necessary for a wild west kit (though i don't appreciate the jab at my homeland!). even if they were only for "civilians", I bet a lot of people w...
just wondering would victrix or perry ww2 kits work with esinkern stormtroopers?,i used some ooh rah arms on some of my esinkern which worked well.I wanted to kitbash a esinkern maybe one carry a j...
Ah thanks, their dragoon heads ? It's true that they could do the job as well, I'd have to see if I can turn their crest into a caterpillar one.
I've added some Copplestone command and trolls to my Wargames Atlantic Orcs, decided to share some pictures so you can get an idea of size comparison:
I really hope these guys come to be one day. I said on another thread the Iron Core range is practically like G.I. Joe without a cobra until these guys are made.
Id love the giant Robots and the vehicles. But id just be happy to see em make the gas mask, soviet looking guys, another Iron Core Faction. My understanding is theyre the antithesis of the three ...
Actually, you can get some cavalry helms from Repetilian overlords that fit the french theme.
@Mithril2098 No they should both be included. The Pepperbox pistols (as in there where many variants) where the poor man's revolver for a good chunk of the 19th century, they were all breachloader...
@Brian Van De Walker speaking as someone who has both researched westerns and the west as a hobby, and someone who has a grandfather who has watched almost nothing but westerns for the last 6 years...
Hi, I wanted to suggest a small STL add-on set to add grognards heads for the various cavalry helmets of the French empire. It's pretty easy to kitbash chasseurs à cheval by cutting t...
@Stephen Chalkley I believe these are the same bases included in the fantasy battle box sets. If that's the case, they are for casualties or command figures. I have opted for different basing than ...
