@Mark DewisReally nice Mark love the one carrying the ball.
@Mark DewisReally nice Mark love the one carrying the ball.
@Mark Dewis yeah I see them now too. And they are pretty cool.
@Estoc @Alessio De Carolis For my first ever experiments with greenstuff I plan to make shoes for those models in the Gripping Beast Dark Age Welsh box who have none, will post some pics if I meet...
@JTam As soon as I saw that sneak peek post I knew that whoever had created this thread (you it turns out 😉) would be pleased that WGA had heard you. Hope it turns out to have all the 'Allo 'Allo y...
I've been wondering when these would finally arrive. The Satyrs definitely look the best set, I'm considering them as a possible way to grab a load of extra bodies to build up a good-sized Beastman...
@Mark Dewis The posted picture is a nice find. During/after the liberation I wonder how many French women and men came crawling out of the woodwork to cosplay as Resistance fighters? &...
@Mark Dewis Reference the giant butt plug.... Don't be so suburban, it's 2022 after all. Also, these ARE followers of Bacchus aren't they? They take a good party and then turn it...
@Mark Dewis I see them now. Those conversions reek....... Of awesomeness and nostalgia!
@William Redford @JTam any good now?
Ugh. I need to work out what causes this. Maybe ones I upload at home vs work? Or phone vs PC? Edit: Those were sent from my phone. I posted the images to work and uploaded. Might be showing bette...

From the look of the sprues and the painted up examples, the proportions of those Amazons are all over the shop. In particlular strangely short arms. I'm glad they finished the amphora design from...
Here are my first two conversions. It was relatively easy to cut off the left arms, do a little filing, and glue the Goth archer arms onto these two Irish Warriors.
I'm wondering if the tommy gun is in there because of this 1944 photo: Note that it DOES have the longer magazine. After D-Day the resistance weren't so reliant on airdropped or captured weapons...
GW Orcs/Orks with strategically sculpted fur can work well for apes. Trim the ears to be rounded and sculpt up a pointed instead of a flat skull.
This was a kickstarter that is now delivering. It has been a bit delayed but nothing too obnoxious. Anyway, tracking says my goodies will be here tomorrow. I will post some pics once I have them in...
@Geoff Maybury and my apologies for the delay in replying... we've all been on vacation and oh boy, it was VERY needed 🤪
@JTam thank you, they look really nice. Slightly different from the Portuguese weapons if the time, but it is to be expected.

Here's my old Blood Bowl werewolf conversions that I mentioned before: ...and with ball in hand:
@JTam thanks. Those two arcabuses lokk really interesting.
@Grumpy Gnome Might go two, I`ve nine 007 Nellies by Corgie, and I`ve a wish to do some "Air Cavalry" as once shown on one of my farthers World Illistrated books in the 60`s.
This is awesome! Those Mechs are the perfect scale; gonna have to snag some. Can't wait to see it finished!
All those vehicles buildings and inside furniture can be obtained printed, for any one interested from the AVP forum, they are however pricey. Try bartering I did.
I think they are looking pretty good... I will definitely be getting a box.
I like Fireforge Templars for Whitecloaks... something the TV series and I differ widely on.
@Abba Elfman AT-43 did a lot of different space and power suited Gorillas, and Crooked Dice do a Planet of the Ape range including Horse back, Gorrillas. There was a company that had some Ape (Chim...
Good detail and nice mix with pouses and equipment
I would certainly agree that WGA could make better 'generic' fantasy than what fireforge or oathmark offer. And with shields now being on different sprues, there could well be armament options in g...
@Viking Cowboy for Warlord Samurai cavalry the Fireforge turkopoles heads might be on the big side, I would just chop the knot on the samurai and put extra fireforge mongolain helms on if we are ta...
You would think they'd have gotten that sorted with the male Partisan and German sentry kits...
@Brian Van De Walker Or the proportions of this incredibly common and standardized smg could be wonky. Occam's razor and all that. Now a we had to thicken up the barrel in relation to...
@Mark Dewis Hmm... I think WA could do better than padded armor saxons made to look even more genric than actual Saxons. That said I don't think the "tech level crossbow at most" look normally coup...
@JTamThe MP40 might be a field modified/junk gun with an MP40 base, also we are talking Third Reich tech they had the standardization of a kindergarten art class projects at times.😆
So, I've been toying with conversions between the Dark Age Irish and Persians, and I believe I've found a reliable method to create Aiel from WoT. You need the spear arms and buckler shields from t...
@Abba Elfman What Grump Gnome says sounds right. Depending on the tech level you are looking for... Eureka makes these: https://eurekaminusa.com/collections/eureka-gorillas-28mm A...
Sneak peak for reference: I have to assume this is the long awaited female French Resistance set. @Sean Tighe Your observations on the Tommy gun seem seem dead on. I'm ...
@jon gawne Interesting observations. Reenactment? Airsoft?
@Sean Tighe You don't see a Somua everyday! Thanks for sharing the pictures. The detail shots of the additional armor on the Sherman are interesting. Did it have the additional rectan...
