@JTam I really like the second idea. that would make such a set piece, perhaps you could cast various parts of it and make two identical models, one pure with resin water, the other destroyed stat...
Tonight's battle in 15mm. A German infantryman rushes a St Chamond tank within it's movement range and attacks with close assault knocking the iron beast out.
What era are you interested in?
@Geoff Maybury The way they functioned on the battlefield is really cool as you described. I can picture their flanks screened by light Infantry while ammo resupply keeps getting pushe...
@lauregami The female figure does have a Western school marm vibe. I thought the pistol grip looked more Napoleonic.... but it could be a representation of a birds head grip I suppose.

@Steven StGeorges what does "even if I do dislike using that term" mean exactly?
@Red Bee Different weapons, from muskets to tanks and everything in between. But I have only played WW1 scenarios of my making. You start with a core set of rules and add on from there.
I'm a bit curious on how the different eras distinguish between each other. Does playing different eras actually "feel" different or is it just a paint job?
@William Redford - I lived just outside Baltimore and worked in the Inner Harbor for about a decade, but moved back down to the hill country a year or two ago. I'm going to have to leave th...

The frills in picture 1, and the stitching in the pants making them look like jeans in picture 3, makes me think of a Western setting, for some reason. That's a setting that I think would be really...
Sneak peak 6 MAY 22: L-R guesses: Armed Vivandiere? Roman? Fantasy Roman? Homeless guy who was pooping in the wadi next to my house?
I would definitely be interested in a how to on making that pistol.
I can try and answer any question you may have. Would like to add on the FB page One Hour Skirmish Wargame page the author is active there.
Wow, I haven't been coming to the forums often and it looks like I'm missing out on some great topics. I completely agree that GI Joe would make a fantastic miniatures game and there are a lot of g...
Great video. The pistol conversions look awesome.
@JTam I`m going to do a piece soon on the Valkir set. This set was so much in demand even we thought about stocking ( until we got the crazy purchase level ). Used as proxy GW , but as true Iron C...
Great review. I particularly like the pistol conversions and the size comparisons with so many different figures from other companies. A very useful video review!
I use stainless steel agitators but only have been using them a little over a year. So far, no trouble but I have heard the same things you have so this is an interesting thread.

@JTam Excellent! Thank you for the recommendation. I'll look into this.
I have used Army Painter stainless steel balls as paint agitators for years. They are great and I have never had any trouble.
I would certainly buy a spanish civil war kit, the kitbash for the international brigades would be fairly straightforward. Great posts and great ideia.
Recently I've happened upon a good deal for some Vallejo paint sets - the US "regular" set, and the WWII allies set. The WWII allies set has some surprisingly vibrant greens that I plan to use for ...
I'd like to see the rest of this Iron Core range get expanded to its original size and more. If anybody has a list and images of the stuff they used to have for Iron Core I would be happy.
Howdy y'all! I've been playing tabletop games (mostly TTRPGs, physically and through Roll20) since I was a teenager. I've recently gotten back into Gundam plastic models, and happened upon this vid...

I actually recently decided I would use Northstar figures as the foundation of my miniature collection for ICRPG (a great system for TTRPG’s), Xgrave and Rangers of Shadowdeep. Love Northstar...
