Let's look at it another way. This is a small sample size but right now 64.7% of the polled prefer 1/48. Let's be on the safe side and say 50% of gamers prefer 1/48th and 50% prefer 1/56. G...

@Ben Saunders Really, but they are probably going to be in Northstar's heroic scale and will likely match the male barbarian set they already do when it comes costumes/uniforms/cloths (ie, ice age...
Tamiya has a limited selection of 1/48 armor kits. (Nothing like number and variety of their 1/35th armor kits though). Hobby Boss makes a few types. There's some boutique kits av...
Great pictures. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. It looks like all the major historical manufacturers are represented and the sculpting of WGA's Irish is as good as any...
Between those two options, I am going to have to hard vote 1/56 because the WW2 Italian and French vehicles WA might do, should match up with the ones done by Warlord and Rubicon so WA is not remak...
@Estoc Well I was under the impression that 0200 was a smaller scale game, I was right but its smaller in over all play area not models. so the kits should match standard 28mm
@JTam 1/48 is already well covered by companies like Tamiya. Also For table top perpouses doing 1/56 is prefered cause its the standard across all games. if WGA does 1/48 not only would they be co...
Hi All, here are some comparison shots with labels on where they are from You can see a few more comparison shots here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C6NPO3pDpE
The wolves/wargs will make good gang leaders in the dog pack street gang game Wargames atlantic is developing. We have the Irish Wolfhound faction and soon will have the spanish Mastiff gang. If th...
I think I agree completely - the hybrid kits are a strong point, and with a significant number of popular items in last year's big survey being civilians, partisans, and e.g. medieval monks/cultist...
If that guy on the right isn't a giant warg, maybe he ought to be promoted to wargdom. I have a feeling Wargames Atlantic's goblins are gonna fit in nicely with that guy!
@Brian Van De Walker One of those illustrations is an Andrewsarchus, the largest hooved predator that ever existed. I'd love to see some andrewsarchus in plastic as well.
I was thinking about Fantasy and Sci-Fi hero boxes. A few sprues of basic bodies, different arms, heads, weapons, etc. The sprues could be set up like Goblin Warband with different torsos and leg...
Just realized WGA's WW1 German and French kits are more suitable for 1916 onwards. Back to the drawing board on speculation.
Sneak Peak 28 JAN 22. The wolf (werewolf?) is pretty exciting. The ammo pouches on the running figure look vaguely Japanese. But I can't place the double "bed roll." Anyone more knowl...
Soviet early tanks - BT5, BT7 And early armored cars - BA 10, BA 20. To be honest, a little big for this request, but not many currently in production, and used by a ton of people from Russia to...
Maybe this suggestion would work? I know that a 3D printing company, Arctic Skunk, make 28mm compatible vehicles in 1/53 scale. That is roughly in between the two scales. It would be a compromise,a...
@Grumpy Gnome It's a mini M4 that vomits out of gliders. What's not to like! Kinda leads to the Tetrarch as well. Same concept but slightly more widely used. (In British ...
I actually logged in through IE to be able to copy and paste links... as I cant paste in Chrome... but my post in IE didnt save... and I didnt feel like doing all that over again..
@Hudson Adams Well... I can get 100 x gw style 25mm round bases on Amazon for $10. And i can get 30 frostgrave style gray bases on Ebay for $5. Brigade games sells the Green Frostgrave style...
Having read the original study (and not just the online articles that were just "warhorses smaller than ponies!!!"), it really does come down to a relatively small sample size of uncategorized hors...
MORE WINNERS! We've just picked 3 New Winners and emailed them. Once they get back to us we'll announce their names and prizes.
I suppose that a third option could have been "28mm/heroic", such that it is: a sort of loose, sloppy, exaggerated "scale" with oversized guns and hatches, and dimensions that are otherwise distort...
@H M True, I should have mentioned that. It could perhaps even be argued that the “seeds” of feudalism is older than the Late Roman period. With the patronus and cliens relations...
M22 Locust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M22_Locust Not the most prolific nor successful tank model but it was used briefly by the British despite being American built and it is listed in th...
My top choices would be Ottomans and the armies of Poland-Lithuania. They have no representation in plastic and it is a fascinating period just waiting to be filled by a manufacturer
The evolution of feudalism is alot more complex than the spread of traditional Germanic lord-follower relations; almost all of the big tent poles of what we would consider feudalism were already in...

These look good. Price will be a factor. I Dont mind the small gray frostgrave bases that everyone seems to hate, si I am able to get those cheap on Ebay. For some reason I hate the green one...
@Ian Jewett Looking forward to the pics!
1/48 vs 1/56 has been talked about a lot on about three different threads here. So I'll keep my comments brief. Would prefer WGA produce 1/48 for three reasons: 1. 1/48 is a better f...
I checked the release schedule but I didn't see these on there. Any idea when these will be released? This is not an exageration, I would buy a minimum of two of those sprues right now becau...
This topic seems to be important - supplementary to this discussion - when WGA releases Vehicles, which scale should they have?
I completely forgot the Type 94 Te-Ke. Also the Type 95 Ha-Go Tank. In my oppinion 1/56 is the wrong scale for 28mm Wargaming.
I'm also positive surprised. Now we only need squared bases in the same fashion.
@JTam Yeah, that was something I thought as well with that first photo with the cannon and tall helmets.
@Brian Van De Walker You make some fair points. I dread having to try each individual model to see if it works for me aesthetically or not though. Ugh. Such a headache. But yeah, I can see con...
I actually thought about the Dingo. But decided the Rolls Royce AC was more to my liking. I may do a few in the future anyway. New pictures this evening.
@Ian Jewett Maybe the Daimler Dingo could be used as a Sentinel prox as well..... It's actual wartime role was the same as a Sentinels. It's fairly small and open topped much like a...
Has a touch of the old Chaos Dwarfs to them.... OK, you have to squint a bit.
Interesting read on German Cavalry on the Eastern Front in WW1: https://www.google.com/amp/s/weaponsandwarfare.com/2020/07/05/wwi-german-cavalry-on-the-eastern-front/amp/ More early war pictures:...
@Hudson Adams I didn't think there was anything new you could do with bases. I was wrong. The flip feature for puddle bases is really clever. The hole for magnets really useful ...
Japanese Type 94 Te-Ke tankette. In service from the first day of the war to the last. Approximately 600 built. Fought in China were it faced off against Chinese operated FT-17s and CV-33...
@JTam Actually I would say it has more to do with what they actually like or what they actually know about because they don’t do the smart thing and shop ebay. As I mentioned in my earlier ...
