@JTam What we need are actual chainsaws what can proxy as chainswords. Like I see so many chainswords but never proppa chainsaws.
@Alessio De Carolis snipers were known to use it as well.
@Brian Van De Walker I am cool with that idea. I just want some hard plastic Cyberpunks and Steampunks, plus the odd Mechanical Man/Robot! Any kit that offers good kitbash potential will float my b...
@Battle Specter Not if we are talking "Ghost in the Shell" type setting which is what I am tempted to do, though it might not be a bad idea if I keep them all Eisenkern.
@Big Boi Yeah luckly I can print FDM stuff for free as long as it falls within a 12 hour print limit. And there is someone there who does resin prints on requests. So I MAY be getting some models p...
@JTam I just based it on past "great wargaming survay" results I recall seeing for history gaming for period gaming. It looks like Saga and Boltaction alternate between being the most the popular r...
@Grumpy Gnome I don't think it ever had much effect on anything in the end. But an awful lot has changed since that time.
@Paul Mitting That is beside the point the real issue is "punk" is not really an across the board topic for wargaming yet (there are no candle punk rules for Ancients, Dark Ages, etc., at least non...
@Battle Specter Well, politically the Eisenkern are Imperial Germany if the Flags are anything to go by and lore wise they clearly aren't nazis regardless of looks.
@Michael Scott You can always direct fire your arty. Just because it can go for miles, doesn't mean you can't just point and shoot. :)
@Kyle Johnson Thanks for the comparison pic. The scale looks right to me.
@Lord Marcus Have they consedered going by catagories, I know its a first time thing but catagories might help them pick the winners.
I've got 3 ogres with guns and 3 with greatswords on the painting desk.
@BS Kitbasher Basically it boils down to "Nazis aren't cool." I've got nothing against Imperial Germany, or even post WWII Germany, but it just seems that there are a lot of people who go all in on...
@Colin Brinkley Get one. You won't be disappointed. @JTam yes, they are about that tall, and yeah, stouter is a good adjective. They are also FAR cheaper. So, @Colin Brinkley - buy one if you...
@JTam Here they are. Obviously, they're not painted, yet; I'm waiting for some backpacks and other parts I ordered from Etsy. I think the scale pretty well! Plus, the rifles that c...
@Arron Robertson Mark will be shipping them himself, I don't believe there should be any problem with that.
I received Five Parsecs from Home for valentines this year and it got.me thinking just how great a fit Nordic Weasel's games would be for a Death Fields Game. For those who haven't played th...
I'd love to get one. The only thing stopping me off is that its 3D printed only. will have to wait till it appears on etsy in the UK...
@JTam This kind of body armours were also donned by the assault engineers tasked with the (almost) suicidal task of destroying barbwire's fences in WWI. And yes, Power armours, if well done, would ...
@Paul Mitting great idea, the Kzin were also (briefly) part of ST universe with an episode of the animated serie, so they could fit well in a non-official continuity.
@JTam Right, strangely for some reasons, too many thinks that an exposed Mg gunner is cooler than a remote turret. Look, f.e., to some SW tanks, such as the Saber Tank, it could be safer to h...
A whole backmO mistook the Valkyr as a Death Fields faction and had made some wild speculation about a valkerie subfaction for the Einherjar, only to be slightly disappointed to find out they were ...
If going with Persian Marines for Ancients for a "Seamen" theme..... Perhaps include a historical Artemisia: And a more popular culture Artemisia:
@Colin Brinkley @Battle Specter I believe the Eisenkern Leviathan makes a great stand in for the Forge World Ceratus Knight-Castogator. Both in size and armament. (From what I ca...
@Battle Specter Nicely done. Thanks for sharing these.
@Paul Mitting I assume you mean League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and not the 1958 heist book, the 1960 film of that, or the BBC black comedy from the turn of the century. 😉
I'll buy anything Eisenkern, as time and availability allow.
I would love to see something "small". Be it Racoon, Meerkat or Lemur based, a tribe of tiny aliens who fill the field with hordes of bodies
@Battle Specter What is your German mini thing? Just curious. i won't be buying for a few reasons, not least is the price and the medium.
Ditto from me for left handed stuff, as well as free hands. You usually get a couple of open hands, fists or pointing ones but rarely enough or enough of the side you want.
Hmm... the wings on the Valkyries are a bit different to the previous teaser. Could just be early sculpt stuff though.
@Mithril2098 Pistol and hand weapon would work too. They have the Zephyrim now.
Maybe some WW1 German Infantry bodies with breastplates to work with the WGA plastic kit.
@Battle Specter Oh, gotcha! I look forward to the comparison. There are still a few plastic Leviathans out there that I might have some interest in, and worst comes to worst I think they'll be comi...
@Colin Brinkley The 1/56 ones are taller than a Knight by a couple of inches. The 1/100 ones are about the same size as an Armiger. I'll post a pic of the two side by side, so you can see what I mean.
@Carsten Ohlsson Left handed weapons for all ranges please! I primarily play Skirmish games and you can never get enough left arms/hands holding something useful. Always up for a decent Shield Mai...
@Brian Van De Walker Very true. All the 'Punk settings veer into sci-fantasy rather than hard sci-fi, but I like the genres for that reason. It's why I love Time Bandits, Star Wars and League of Ge...
I believe they're called 'vulcan cannons', and the melee are mauler claws. Also, I didn't realize the Leviathans were Armiger-sized, I'd pictured them as Questor-scale.
@JTam Dear Lord in Heaven, make these in plastic!
@Dennis Horne Same again - smae STMP message. I wonder if it has to do with being logged in at the same time or not?
I figured this was a great spot to drop a couple pics of two of my favorite models in my collection given this piece of the forum is dedicated to the Iron Core range. The first few pics are of a mo...

Sneak peek 15 FEB 23: Pretty baller.
@Red Bee nothing's rushed.HQ have multiple kids in different places with sculpting. Some of which do not take image captures very well.
