PMC takes the crown for me. Most versatile of all. And I agree with William, it would be nice to have both female and male mini's. Perhaps something like the Canon Fodder kits. Were arms and gear a...

@Hudson Adams Geoff Maybury started this excellent thread: https://wargamesatlantic.com/community/xenforum/topic/61959/today-and-tomorrows-war It has lot of good ideas on modern/near futur...
Definitely SEALs, Delta, etc. I'd also be interested in some PMCs to use as mercenaries or the resistance for an alien invasion.
I would be interested in gangs... Think Necromunda but more so the original necromunda... basically gangs that you would see in contemporary times, or 80's inspired. Gang members that are generic e...
Assuming we are talking post cold war to near future..... Everything! Seriously though, we are totally starved of anything modern/near future. The closest we come at the minute for near futu...
What kind of sets would you want to see as part of a Moderns/Near Future range? Delta? SWAT? Cartels? FFL? Yakuza? Royal Marines? Zombies? Lizard Alien Invaders? Rioters? Meal Team Six? Let us know...
@lauregami Such excellent setting ideas! I envy you having a regular gaming group. Right now it is just Mrs. GG and me for our gaming but we wished we had a regular gaming group. Before Littl...
Excellent work! I'm a bit the same - most of my miniature making enjoyment come out of kitbashing. I'll often buy a kit just becauseof a cool combo with parts from another kit. But then I ha...
@András Csaba Horváth I didn't realize there was a great helms on the sprue. Wargames Atlantic did a great job with the Halfling kit. Thank You for the feedback on Saga:...
@William Redford Thank you! That giant scorpion looks great! I may very well convert a goblin into a scorpion rider. Gabby the Gnome I think would also be a good starting point to create a model fo...
More Lore.... The generation ships is interesting. And their ancient history falling into myth is as well. Not as excited about the cloneskein thing. Although I suppose it gives the...
@lauregami The setting sounds cool. I am a big fan of blackpowder in fantasy. It took some convincing but my RPG group is now as well... or at least tolerates it well enough. Giant S...
Thank you for the kind words, everyone! I'm sure I'll have more updates as I keep building the minis, and I hope to do the hobby veterans here justice. My prior experience working on larger model k...
Oh, now there you go - that's not a bad rocket - since I posted that, other people have found some nice rockets I'd never have come across myself, and it's greatly appreciated! For this purpose, I...
Thanks :) The greathelms are from the Halfling Militia kit, 1/sprue. I played two games (6 points each) and really enjoyed it :) In my opinion it is a great balance of deep, but not too cumbersom...
So overall, I will have * 90 melee infantry (30 pike, 30 halberd, and 30 sword and shield) * 60 ranged infantry (20 arquebusiers in 3 units) * Artillery (1-3 cannons, not sure how many I can fit...
Reorganized the shelf to better fit more stuff, though thinking the army may be a 2 shelf army... The Halberds have chsnged formation, and are now in 6 ranks of 5 instead of 3 ranks of 10. The firs...
That's totally fair! But I think its best to kit bash now, rather than just sit and wait. I'm certaimly glad i did so with my lizardmen, for example! And if there comes a day when an upgrade sprue...
@lauregami Well heres to a brand new modeller, from one of possibally the oldest at 67 on forum. Heck my friend couldn`t you have picked something larger for your first build, "Halflings " oh boy?...
Oh, and did your partner name their son? :)
Looking good. Do you have an idea as to what you will be doing with them? Are they going to be: a) For display? Something cool to put up and look at? b) For playing in an rpg, like dungeon...
Much as I love kitbashing my own conversions, we are all unlikely to get kits we really love unless we tell companies what we want.
Great work! You seem to have a knack for it. It is great hearing the excited enthusiasm in your post. I look forward to following this thread.
Hey Folks!I usually hang out over on Facebook at Wargames Atlantic Legion, where I'll usually be doodling hypothetical kit ideas. Jumping over here to get in on the discussion. I'll be setting up a...
Never thought to look up agitators specifically; I just used lead fishing weights (maybe don't lick your minis after painting them if you go this route, tempting though it may be...).
My Daughter's first painted "minis." In progress: Finished: It was a fun project. There was a lot of creative brush use and dinosaur noises.
@Yronimos Whateley Heck Yeah Brother!

About a week ago I ordered some sprues of WA goblins, halflings, and giant spiders. I got so excited about miniatures between then and now that I've since bought several boxes that I can't wait to ...

Good evening everyone! My name is Spurlie and I love playing Bolt Action and Age of Sigmar!

Two pictures of my wizard.
Hi!After being really impressed with Wargames Atlantic's sci-fi sets I've decided to build a small halfling force for some Frostgrave and later Age of Magic action. So I ordered 3 boxes of Halfling...
Added the arquebusiers to the shelf. Hmm, the shelf may not be big enough for everything I want to add.
It's an issue with Shopify actually. The best way to do it is to Login right from the WA homepage instead of the Legion page. I've found it picks it up faster that way.
@lauregami Looks like a nice hobby space. For my lighting I use a LED light that's like those older fluorescent tubes. Works great for me. I also upgraded my desk last week, when I bought a big she...

@Yronimos Whateley I mentioned earlier Brad Morris was using Bolt Action rules: Blog Entry I think Bolt Action isn't a terrible fit. It's primarily Infantry focused but it's normal t...
@lauregami Awesome! I've done business with Statuesque Minis before and was very pleased.
Anvil Industries is somewhat similar to Victoria and has a variety of 28mm female heads: There are some Wargames Atlantic kits with female heads on the sprue. I believe the Grognard Comman...
@JTam Thanks for pointing me to Statuesque! I bought 3 sprues of various "heroic small" size heads. It looked like they would have relatively solid compatibility with everything I'd be using. I th...
