@Brendan Flynn As someone who lives near little Saigon, yes Mongol invasion Vietnamese would be awesome, though I feel the Trịnh–Nguyễn Civil War of the 17th century would be a meater wargame...

@Estoc Bit too early to ask with regards to the plastic kit which gets shipped out in July and I am pretty sure one can modify STLs to any size, so that may not be helpful.
In my endeavors, I have stumbled across what I am not hesitant to call one of the most beautiful games I have encountered- Firelock 198X. It is a wonderful setting combining fantastical elements wi...
Prussians, french, and british for this era are numerous. The prussian/german uniform matchesn the great war kit from this very company, and I can send you some links for very nice brits and french...
@Hudson Adams i feel the two on the right are close enough to the late Romans set that you could probably just do a head and shield swap. though getting a proper byzantine kit could be interesting.
I would love to see Mongol heavy horsemen mounted on fully barded steeds and as pointed out by Brian their enemies, especially the Vietnamese.
Hi Everyone. I did a quick forum search and didn't see anything (but may have missed it). Have there been any announcements about expanding the forces of the Boxer Rebellion? It would be great t...

Yeah that would be an intresting STL.
Wanted to share a thought. The Serbian Iron Regiment’s Assault Bomber Squad would make a pretty interesting Great War Digital set. Especially if it included Milunka Savic loaded with grenades...
In practical terms, everything pre-Medieval tends to be considered "Ancients" in the Wargaming scene, using the same rules, attracting the same players and so forth. So yeah, I think I agree...
I want to give a specific shoutout to Scalehobbyist, a web store out of New Hampshire with absurdly good pricing on kits and paints. They are my go-to for most of my non-wargaming-vehicles-for-conv...
As a general update regarding 3D printers: Consider buying a used printer, especially if you have a friend who knows what they are doing already. I picked up a 3-pack of used Ender 3's for $150 to ...
I just wanted to leave this picture of Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology here.
I just want to point out that I love the new Nubian spearmen. they work great as armored sahel troops@Hudson Adams
It's a cool one, yep. Not sure if you can find kits for it at affordable prices though. Man i really wish Old Crow Models hadn't shut down, they had some awesome resin SciFi vehicles that would ha...
@Mark Dewis hmm, personally I think it should be "First Empires" all the way till "Decline and Fall" or something more general title like "After Bronze" for that same period than something Rome and...
Maybe just roll all things between Alexander and the Fall of Rome into one "Classic Rome" category? I mean, that's sortof been how the Fall of Rome digital releases have been operating anyway...
If it costs 1" of movement to stand up and Pluck can be spent to move a Quar 1", does that mean that Pluck can be used to stand a Quar up from prone? ...
Just wondering, when will we see the results and what the winners have submitted?
@Alfonso TheTraitor hey I love the look of these guys, what paints did you use to get the skin?
How do these figures match up with Fireforge plastic minis? Bigger, smaller, same size? Does anyone have comparison photos?
I just wanted to mention the swedish STRV-103 S tank. This tank screams sci-fi to me. Remove the main gun and add a turret: pa-chow sci-fi tank
Tamiya's 1/48 modern armor kits are fine from what I've seen: scaled pretty much identically to WGA's 28mm guys. That Tamiya Japanese armored car and Hummer look great with WGA's Iron Core an...
@Charles Tottington Cause your main game is 40k to degree where its affecting how you veiw things, otherwise you would figure out GW's orc/orks are based on gorrilas, have been since the D&D RP...
@Mithril2098 they don't quite look like that, a lot of outfit changes clearly happend from when the Conquestdors landed in the Americas (what this STL work for, for sure) and Gustavus Adolphus time...
@Hudson Adams Nah, some of the best and most popular historical mini companies don't bother with Western Rome and the hellenistic pagan cultures at all, and given how few miniature wargamers there ...
@Alfonso TheTraitor haven't tried yet, but they have to be easier than the spiders. Paint looks great.
I think we'll just bring them out and skip the crowdfunding though!
@Hudson Adams oh man oh man this is so exciting! I have been wanting to get singular models in plastic for such a long time. That should be the next Kickstarter, faction characters. I'll back that ...
Overdone probably not given how small this little hobby is. But there is a reason a lot of people do Romans and any company that does historicals would be silly not to tackle them at some point.
Or you could label them cuirassiers, since those had the sort of heavier plate these figures have, during the 16th and 17th century.
@Andrew Stoeckle Why do these remind me of Warhammer 40k Orks?
They still look very spanish, why not just call them Caballeros (the spanish word for knight) with rough date and be done with it. You could also just label them as knights or noble cavalry with ro...
@Hudson Adams That is fine, Rome is kinda of an overdone topic.
Here is a link to my live comba witch Q&A. https://youtube.com/live/0fOtqDMIhyM?feature=share
looks like you can build both the Demi-lancers and the Reiters from that kit. but i'd go with Reiter, since that was the term used closer to the age of the conquistidors.
Following up on today's announcement that we are taking the Conquistador Cavalry set and going forward with two sets - one for Conquistadors and one for armored European cavalry...we have to decide...
@Mithril2098 Eureka have a great range of minis.
Sorry I missed this one! Jordan it's a great idea and something we've been working on. We probably won't debut any characters until 2025 though.
The plan going forward is to not only release new stuff but also flesh out more and more of the already released digital sets. So opponents to them, additional troop types, and other options like y...
@Mark Dewis Might of Rome may not go beyond what it is now. At least not for quite some time. So no digital plans for it. Maybe someday.
These guys look fun!
@Mithril2098 the exact introduction of guns to european warfare is somewhat debatable, but yeah 1200's is a tad early though they did seem to exist in China at that point and Firelances may have ma...
I thought that might have been what's going on. @Hudson Adams Hmmm... now that Might of Rome is a store category, are we getting a thirteenth monthly digital set? ;)
I recently joined the MMF tribe (Yay Centurion!) and it struck me that there's a lot of cross compatibility that would be really cool to see released at 3D print files. Specifically I'd love to se...
i don't know about handgunners.. those tend to be from later than the periods the baron's war ruleset focuses on. (which is the game those sets were designed around) but i agree that we'll probably...
I think that billmen, pikemen, crossbowmen, handgunners and fully armored men-at-arms with polearms are already covered elsewhere. I actually feel the need of more variations for the late XIV cent...
I made some progress on the new heretic warband I'm not sure if red was the right color choice for the masks but I'll stick with it.
