My interest in early 20th century history doesn't finish on 11th November 1918.
The current projects that I am engaged with are some of the conflicts fought after the aformentioned date.
Here are some Polish infantry which I have knocked up using a set of WA WW1 Germans, some Polish heads bought from Michael at Siberia-miniatures & some heads & other bits kit bashed together from WA WW1 French infantry.
Some NCOs & two chauchat light machine gunners. The chauchats taken from WA WW1 French.
Officer's body taken from WA WW1 French (arms German). Map case is a spare bit from Bolt Action Germans. Adrian helmets also taken from WA WW1 French.
Siberia-miniatures 28mm Poles. They really go well with the WA figures. More or less the same scale. I even gave two figures a WA head!
Siberia-miniatures command figures. I'm just waiting upon my Polish eagle!
Next up... Lithuanian Infantry!
@Christopher Tyrer
Great conversions and great thread.
The WGA German bodies used as Poles looks convincing here.
The Siberian Miniatures heads are a great find. And Thank You for the picture with the WGA and Siberian Miniatures minis side by side. They mix well. I will definitely be picking up some Polish heads and maybe some of the Voluntary Legion of Women.

@JTam Yes, you don't mess with those Polish ladies!
Yes, I'm quite happy with the out come of my figures. As you can tell by the choice of primer, I've decided to give them khaki uniforms.
@Christopher Tyrer
Good choice. The collar tabs associated with the M1919 uniform seem more interesting as well.
Looking forward to update photos as the project comes along.
What are you planning for the Lithuanians?
Also, square bases? Do you have a rule set in mind?
@JTam For my Lithuanians, I'm using the same figures (WA WW1 Germans). Heads, I'm using British service caps from gripping beast. Officers, I may give them Kepis using WA Frenchheads & possibly some German helmets too.
The bases I use are made by Renedra. I don't wargame so I use square bases just because I prefer them to round ones.
Some nice inspiration here:
1920 Bitwa Warszawska / 1920 Battle of Warsaw
Shame there's no subtitles. Still, it LOOKS good.
