generally a bodies only set is more the provenance of 3D printing, since general demand would be fairly low. for 3D printed sets though the trick is to include enough to make the cost worth it.

Admittedly with how the sprues currently are, separate bodies will be a huge challenge. Although I am a big fan of the idea of selling sprues entirely dedicated to giving you bodies. Since we have ...
I have started an army using the Les Grognards kit which to this point has been great. I have done a lot of conerting to make what i think is one of the more inexpensive armies. That being said I a...
@INSURGENT Skirmisher not the right thread for this question. i'd suggest you start a new thread in the modelling section about it, instead of trying to hijack an existing thread.

Can somone put some Orc heads of Quar modeles and post a pic of how they look? I guess 40K Orc heads would work best.
Can somone put some Orc heads on any of the Quar models and post a pic of how they look. I guess GW 40K Orcs would work best.
Update: Creevish Cavalry (File Prep) Cadiers (File Prep) My campaign to convince headzombie was highly successful (I posted about it once and he did something he'd already been planning out of h...
Slam Sector on Youtube did an interview with the Headzombie himself, all about the Quar, the Games, and where they came from.
weekly update time! looks like the crusaders are still having a bit of production trouble with their tank. but we have sightings of two new boxes... the creevish cavalry is on their way to aid th...
@pafbraed287 i guess if the tests of the Ailthean mold go well, they could meet that goal.
I hope that we get something in June. I would not mind if the Western Arnyarans were out in June. I'd like to see one of their bigger tractors out in digital as well as the current one move to plas...
I just keep an eye out for resin ornaments of Cottages and Castles that turn up in the charity shops around here, I've picked up some nice 10mm buildings for a euro a piece this way
Been playing around with different ways of assembling and expanding my Orc Horde. I had initially purchased these to use as Mordor Orcs for GW's defunct Battle of the 5 Armies game, but afte...
@Mithril2098 I think headzombie said both tractors would be in June.
friday update time.. we have two new sets shippin this month: Crusader Specialists - May 16 Coftyran Specialists - May 16 and updated info on the upcoming sets.. Western Arnyaran Infant...
personally since i'm going to have to wait till after summer to free up enough funds to get them*, i'm going to just focus on planning what to build. figuring i'll be getting one box of each to add...
Got the entire first sprue (save one casualty) done! These figures are great, and I am hopng to see more options in the future: More Command Options (Warboss) ...
I settled on a colorscheme for my WIP Imperial Guard unit and I thought I would share some pictures. I love the Ooh-Rah line of miniatures, but made some modifications to make them a little ...
@Simon Boulton Not to sound harsh but at that rate, you should look at the Warlord 7YW line, its essentally the same thing.
I have settled on using Fantastic Battles by Nic Wright. I can put two bases together to make 40mm square units. My first sprue is nearly done and I will share some pics here soon!
@Duncan Sargent My command have just arrived, have yours?
I've got plenty of regulars painted as Brits and Patriots, but no militia. The WGA minutemen/militia will be a much-needed addition to my AWI skirmish armies.
@Brian Van De Walker yes, I know there are loads of differences in 18th century uniforms but the old Spencer smith plastic that spurred the development of 18th century imaginations only had one typ...
@Scott Pyle The bases provided make it easy to use these with the Midguard rules.
I had a look for more information about this because I'm interested in seeing what people came up with, but there doesn't seem to be much online. Is there anywhere I could check out pictures of peo...
@Ariel Nataf well. if your good with paper, there is a whole other world of papercraft kits. Armchairgeneral, Onemonk, FreePaperModel.com, and spacestation42.com are good resources (you'll have to ...
Hey-o! I wanted to post some album covers spanning Tootie's eclectic musical career to show what this talented bonehead gets up to when he's not marching with his skeleton bretheren against t...
I'm personally really glad they decided to do them in skirmishing poses. Most sets are always in marching poses and it gets pretty repetitive. As somebody that enjoys building displays and dioramas...
@Duncan Sargent Yeah, I ordered one too. Hoping it turns up soon, but glad to see it's not just me.
@Mithril2098 Ooh, that means the Coftyran one has 3 R-cos! Might pick one up sometime! (I like R-cos)
The crusader specialists has been shared on the discord.. 4 bodies per sprue, good mix of arms.
Pendraken fron the UK carry 10mm terrain, as well as their own lines of 10mm figures. Dark Horse Hobbies carries their stuff in the US. Timecast in the UK do buildings, rivers, roads in 10mm. Batt...
Could be like the Fidwogs though, they have 6 per sprue with that little tractor, so it really depends on how much kit they want to include. If they have the field gun then that does not leave a lo...
I made myself a bunch of building using paper models of building. I took 28mm and reduced size not the easiestst build at this scale but at least no need for painting.
Only issue with that is the description "generic" and anything European after the 17th century have nothing to do with one another, but okay.
I would love to be able to have a Quar farm populated by various critters, or a wood or whatever. It maybe just dressing but look at how much some people spend on scenery. I can see myself buying a...
With the continued interest in 18th century imaginations, I think there's definitely scope for a generic 18th century range. Bit like a modern version of the old Spencer Smith range
The minutemen will be useful, I'm not sure about a whole box of grenadiers in multiple poses
Just build castles and other terrian from foam using tutorials you trust/can follow, just make sure the doors look like the right size for 10mm. Likewise making houses at that scale should b...
a few of them are getting rules at least.. the Fydos are part of the fidfog army, the Sarf-cyn are part fo the normal Gloam-hynn squad, etc. agreed though that most of the critters so far have bee...
@Mithril2098 See, I think the thing is I believe most critters (except fydos and pyk-pyks, which are commonly used in combat) shouldn't have rules, as they probably wouldn't be in combat much, it w...
i think it would depend a lot on the critters, and how much a role they have in the games.
If you don't mind 3D printing, the stl pack "6mm Fortifications" by Productions Diratia is a modular castle builder and the "Western Kingdom - Battlefield Bundle" has a ruins of a village, siegewor...
@Mithril2098 Now I think about it a critter box probably wouldn't sell that great, since people really only want 1 or 2 as novelties. I really do hope Fydos get plastic models though, as they are s...
