Just purchased another box of Irish Warriors (I've lost count on how many of these boxes I've built), and another box of Goths so I can get this conversion project under way. I will post pics of th...

Another great addition to this range. Please don't let this releae get in the way of the Franks, though. I really need those now! 😄
I've reported on this forum before that WA and GB plastic dark ages figures are wonderfully interchagable, allowing for lots of creative possibilities. This photo of a Goth chieftain (as yet unpain...
The Aravises look useful and are nice sculpts. The valkyries are not great sculpts, IMHO. I'm having flashbacks to WGF Amazons... Looks like there's a veil and non-veil version of each head in the...
Those are nice. Probably a little pricey for me to justify now that I have 10 Pocket Titans, though.
@Allan Lougheed ask around for people who have the WGF/Warlord Ashigaru kits. They'll likely have a a few unused plastic ones. This item: https://us.warlordgames.com/products/ashigaru-spearmen T...
I agree with you, Mithrill, particularly on both the utilitarian and symbolic aspect of the military objects ; and on the homogeneous rather than uniform appareance of them. I personnaly believe t...

There was a variety of vehicles at the settlement in Aliens.... A tractor would fit in / work great at whatever settlement your battling bugs in.
@JTam Got to be the opperators set the hinted at surly,
@Mark Dewis Another game we match what a oldy but a cracker.
That my brother is brilliant. Tapestry filled it`s great thanks.
@Mark Dewis well close but no cigar I guess. I found a site called steelfist miniatures that sells cast Yari but they are low on stock. I wrote them to find out if they can cast some more. ...
I think Reaper has some Reaper Bones “Greys”... 👽
This relaunched. KICKSTARTER LINK. I am in again at the Garrison army level. Though now they have little $10 sets that net you 2 sprues of plastic and a resin leader.

The Germans look good. Like the guy with the grenade bundle. Looking forward to the French, game, and any other further updates.
@Geoff Maybury Sci Fi tractor would be a great kit. Tons of uses: Terrain, objectives, Necromunda, Genestealer Cults, Death Korps of Krieg artillery tractor, etc., etc.

Giant rats with associated small rats would be a goer, I reckon. Maybe 6 giant rats plus a bunch of small ones designed to group together on swarm bases. 6+12? Horse sized rats don't come up as mu...
Honestly? The customer base is fractured so much about what LOTR minis should look like that it really doesn't encourage ANY manufacturer without the official license to do them. Outside of genreri...

The Tams as a WW1 British kit head option does make the most sense. It's roughly the same as the Senegalese heads in the French one in terms of kit versatility, and wearing of the kilt in action wa...
@Grumpy Gnome Kind of waste for WW1 British when they could have them in dedicated WW1 Scottish set with kilts:
Please for the love of all thats good and right in this world someone make plastic grey aliens so I can get the heads I wanna put on those halflings! Or maybe just a sprue with alien heads
@H M I will agree it’s an aesthetics chose, I won’t argue with you on that anymore. To answer your first actual question, given the only more or less positive conversation I have seen ...
It's got a strong Turok vibe. But could be any lost earth setting. Hollow Earth humans are very often depicted as North American type tribes. These guys have muskets, though, which is uncommon in ...
@H M Always do the projects that the muses suggest.
We'll know more when we see the sprue and if it has more humanoid arms and legs as an option, but I can see Kroot arms (which I have a bulk ton of) fitting that torso very well. WGA Lizardma...
I've dremelled his crotch out so he can have pants and not chain. The guy to the left will get the chain covered over with putty for a tunic look. Uplifted chimps probably make for useful spacers....
Tractor would be an excellent kit.
@Allan Lougheed I'd not say those are particularly close. A bit short and the wrong sort of spear head (lozenge instead of straight). Looks more like a cut down European boar spear to me.
Those tripartate ones are a touch fancy, though. Mostly they're just single blades.
There is also warlords plastic samurai and Ashigaru sets, the samurai set in particular comes with options to make everyone either sword or spear troops, so lots of extra Yari spears. They might b...
@Steven StGeorges Yeah, it’s probably just the equivalent of a cow for the giant spider race.
where is that pic from?
having some sort of 'high fantasy Men at Arms" would be neat, and if they are designed so they could be used as numenoreans, great. but make them general enough so they could be Atlanteans, or Valy...

@Mark Dewis Well done Mark... a real Grease Monkey in the flesh.. er.. hard plastic. Going to steal your concept.
@Berggeit really great conversions, expecially the Jedis' ones, for lightsabers I remember that someone(Hasslefree?) sell some thin plastic rods, in various colors, pefect to simulate lightsabers, ...
Thanks for the suggestions guys! Those Orc spears are definately close arent they? I think I will contact Perry and see if they will cast some for me. I need at least 50 so its probably worth their...
For JTam, Grumpy Gnome and all others. Finally got the picture for your enjoyment, the tractor, PS, Wargames Atlantic- if you'd like to build us one, we'll have it.
@Steven StGeorges I thought they were "Kits" they come in pieces.😇
