I would prefer it to be be seperate but just voted for the vampires.

The best thing about alternate history is it's alternate. If your computer gunnery interupts the franco-prussian war, germany would be in a different state in 1915-45. In addition, revolutions may ...
Any classic WOTW martians would be nice. Might be more classic fantasy though.
Yeah, there are two threads I made about this before. The moderators said it was from the service used.
It sounds nice, especially if the models could work as elite units or standard units with different parts.
This page: https://us.warlordgames.com/collections/french-indian-war-1754-1763 Edit: small mistake - while the WGF kits were pitched to be usable for 1754-63, their main focus was 1776-83. But th...
Weren't the old Wargames Factory Revolutionary War kits (especially the Indian one) designed to go cover this as well? Warlord still publish them.
For eastern monks, I find the Perry Anasar Warior kit invaluable (note the upper right pair and the bodies with the shoulder wrap): Some of the Afgans (WGA or Perry) also work as the basis of ...
Having said all that, a kit with robed figures is a great idea. I'd mix it up with medieval, science fiction and occult options. Wizards, monks, cultists, Jedi and ceremonial guards.
Actually, most of the good bits are on the command sprue. If you source those instead of the general kit it might be better: Fireforge do sell this sprue seperately at ten Euro. The Teutonic one...
Some of the bodies on the Frostgrave wizard sprue will make servicable monks. Plus the Vicrix command sprue guy (who is on several of their dark age command sprues). The Fireforge Templar in...
Are there any other manufacturers of 1/50 scale WW1 tanks out there? The only ones that I know of are all in resin. And all are in 1/56 scale- Warlord, Trenchworx and Brigade Games. HLB...
@Geoff Maybury Awesome Brother. Thanks for sharing about your vehicles. Very cool stuff. Are you referring to the Commando? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cadillac_Gage_Comman...
Today I managed to finish painting another batch of miniatures, this time a group of dwarves mounted on giant spiders and their dwarvish infantry support. The high temperatures and the fires in the ...
@Geoff Maybury Yeah, I am still going to get the Conq Cavalry when WA releases them. But I am thinking I may buy a box of Perry (12 riders) to make 2 units for my Landsknechts. Since they are not a...
@William Redford Cut down on waiting Bill, also give you the opertuinity to create some very special unique figures, also the same, on foot and horse, if you should so wish.
Preview link Fireforge announced this will stark next week! Looking forward.
So These have started showing up on ebay. Just ordered the above sprues. Enough to make 6 arquebusiers. I had backed the kicksterter but only went in for a $1 and never upgraded. I am lookin...
I think a cool opportunity for a robot sprue would be to kitbash them with an existing sprue to create cyborgs. I think I saw some cyborg parts on the female Cannon Fodder; if that's a popular opti...
@fodzilla Nice war band , great priest, not a bad price set either.
It's not a full kit, but there's a monk on the Victrix Saxon Command sprue if you just wanted to build the one character. https://www.victrixlimited.com/en-au/products/late-saxons-anglo-danes
@Benjamin Hayward Eh, seems we all like "Weird Wars", American Civil, WW2, Korea, Nam, are my dabbles.
@Carsten Ohlsson Good thinking with the animal masks, a versatile set right through to Si/FI.
@Viking Cowboy Yea thats the thought that made me think of it to begin with. If youre in northern europe around the 900s sometimes vikings happen and the soldiers are away, so the monks must try to...
@Carsten Ohlsson I'd probably throw some bits from the Dark Age Irish kit on them and have them try to defend themselves against vikings.
Phalanx Consortium makes a resin 1/50th FT17. Hopefully this marks a shift to 1/50th by more manufacturers. Blood and Valor
Took a very long time but I updated my blog, included a post on these guys here. https://ninety-nine-projects.blogspot.com/2022/07/turnip28-fodder-and-brutes-for-45th.html
Yeah, some simple medieval robbed figures would be great. Tho, do please make any iconography a separate bit, like crosses. It makes things easier for conversions. I would expand on the idea by sug...
Good Idea. I would kitbash it and build futuristic Space Crusaders.
Saw this excellent conversion on Facebook by @LucasWilliams. Comments state that they were made with Perry's War of the Roses light cavalry. May have to try this.
Topic says it all.A box of generic styled european monks with swords. If using the standard composition of 28mm (body+legs, arms, head) such a kit is just a simple arm+head swap away from being eas...
Thanks for the review@Geoff Maybury, always nice to hear your take on things. Some more information and fun photos can be found on the Lead Adventure Forum for the curious. https://leadadve...
I don`t like to rush things as these only came yesturday, but the do seem to sellout quick. and I do think that the reason is they are dam "GOOD". So here`s a very basic and short review. These rul...
I'd really like to see a detailed 28mm ft 75 bs and the other less known renault ft variants as I've only found a 75 bs low poly 3d print and the others in different scales. Renault ft 75 bs pro...
I would love to see all of the above WW1 tanks released in plastic, along with the French Schneider and British Whippet. I don't game, model or collect any Warhammer stuff, but their tanks...
@Olympian Gamers The only grumble I have with the giant spiders is the way they stand so high off the base, actual spiders are much lower to the ground. I suppose this is a function of the moulding...
Hello all, If were going to be talking WW1, we need to start discussing Arty. Many changes happened with artillery over the course of the war...I would love to see a multi part kit that ca...
@Lindsay Bailey Those are great!Where are the feathered caps from?
@Mark Dewis Same... Though I probably should have added a box of Goths, but I think I will just order some sprues for those first.
If WGA really want to satisfy a gap in the market, plastic 28mm WWI tanks would be a big hit I'd wager. The only previous 28mm WWI tanks made were Warlord's resin ones - they made British Mark IV ...
@lauregami if you are still looking for lizardmen boxes, McDougall designs has a few in stock. Your models look excellent! I would like to suggest round bases for your infantry to be glued...
Got my order in. Wasn't up to waiting to have enough cash to avoid postage this time!
Just stumbled onto some things that might be interesting, I know not everyone likes STL because 3D printing is basically an expensive hobby all on its own. Here is a small light walker that ...
@Mark Dewis oh yeah organised crime is definitely a part of everyday life. Regardless of whether prohibition passes or not, on the battlefield the US like the CSA is still a relatively minor f...
@Caratacus Exactly, you got there right before I did. In this setting China would probably try to stay neutral but Japan is already a major belligerent and it's unlikely that China would be ab...
@Alex M I certainly like the idea of a little separatist Communist Alaska making a nuisance of itself against both British Canada and reformed Russia, as upon being defeated by Nicholas II the Bols...
In regards to Prohibition, it could go either way. But I doubt the lack of it would have had had much effect on the organised crime situation - opportunites would be found elsewhere, as they were p...
@Alex M No more nitpicking.. but be sure I am going to keep on lurking around. 🧐 I like the setting so I am quite eager to read your upcoming ideas/creations ... 👌
Average painting day in summer in Australia, just have to dip your brush in water more often. But seriously when it's over 40c it's a struggle.
