@Macho Mandalf Great link/article. Thank You.
@Macho Mandalf Great link/article. Thank You.
Games Workshop basically price based on the *points* a miniature costs in their games. Metal, plastic or resin doesn't affect that. And remember that they have owned their own CGI-sculpted-through-...
@Steven StGeorges Good video. Just saved that to Favorites.
There's plenty of this guy and his banner bits floating around right now. Is it a LOTRs style banner? I don't know. I think it looks cool. If I ended up with th...
Pretty easy scratch build. Bamboo skewers are great for banners and general pole work. If you want one that's knarled and twisted, find a suitable twig. Pretty much any garden or park will provide....
I know there are already lots of boxes that kind of represent guardsmen from WH and anything similar BUT, nothing is close enough to Halo CE marines. It's pure nostalgia but I've been searching lon...
@Robert Mastrud OR ... you could buy the LOTR Orc Banner bearer directly from Noble Knight.. HERE 25$US + shipping .. fair price to my mind.
Well, thats one way to do it. For a flag guy, I would just use an extra Warlord Ashigura command flag (from the spear box) and a warlord orc which mixes in pretty well with the WA goblians. O...
@Robert Mastrud I think someone is planning to turn them into Rohan horsemen ... 😁
@Steven StGeorges Thank you so much! The Great Eye will reside on a banner of your method of construction.
Four male bodies (no greaves, two greaves, two with one greave) and a lion/tiger, no attached arms looks like the best option to me. Unlike a lot of kits you do not need to allow for carried equipm...
@Robert Mastrud Easy way, just assemble a lancer thanks to the Goblin Warband box, remove the lance and replace it with thin metal rods (that vid could be useful) to achieve that result: Le...
Blood Bowl coaches can use spare shoulder pads, too. I have often ordered loose shoulder pad bitz in order to make some of my teams up. (The Kroot ones are pretty useful, for what it's worth).
@William Redford I'm a Wargames Atlantic maximalist (mostly that is). I'm just using WA to make my Freeguild stuff.
There better be! ;-)
Are there any plans on doing late Roman Cavalry?
I am wondering what everyone has done for their goblin commands. Do any if you guys have advice for making a Goblin Banner? I am planning on making a mordor orc force and am struggling to find orcs...
@Grumpy Gnome .. and both were around since RT, unemployed but present. Mmm I think I do never read a battle report of Tyranids vs Necrons by the way... And I am wondering if Tyranids...
The Necrons and Tyranids are decent villains, I will give GW that much at least.
Now as i`ve posted else were, this is one of the last web posts, I never got on the third forum, and as the large group I mixed with at the time, did not do Iron Core, I was the only one chasing it...
Second page.
@Frank Reischmann Cheers mate, there was no link as such its from our Iron Core files and my darling wifes done it. Heres the snippit .
@Yronimos Whateley I think this is why NorthStar's Cultists box set is so popular amongst us (with or without the upgrade scifi sprue) like any other Frostgrave products (like the Wizards or...
@Geoff Maybury If you give me he link to the PDF I will make JPEGS from them and post it here...
I assume this will become quite fun rarity in the future.
@William Redford 00s Dark Eldars are really painfull to look at... but I would like to finish an auld project to scratchbuild Exodites and/or Corsairs with since 2nd or even 3rd ed plastic a...
@JTam .from the skeleton of a background given by GW. "Leaguers" are living under the rule of Uber IA -the Ancestor Cores, so the very opposite of Eldar's Infinity Circuit- and are so maste...
There is an article in Military Miniature Magazine about the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan in 1929 that really great! It gave me some inspiration to use the upcomming Russians as well as the WA Af...
It's a legit great idea - they are money spinners for anvil/madrobot, I think. Having plastic ones we can poly cement to stuff would be ace.
@Benjamin Hayward To be totally honest, I don`t know, you will see from a couple of other posts, Mark appeared to be depressed. I`ve tryed in the past, when I lost the second forum to contact him, s...
Guys I`ve found two pages print explaining Marks work with a guy called Robey Jenkins at something Precinctomega. On building up the rules so a Leviathen and (his words) squishy infantry work. Once...
Actually, with gladiators you are not making a warband of them for the history gaming side like you are with the dark age Irish but individual fighters, so you want them to be as customizable with ...
@Mark Dewis Nah, while that is a wonderfully imaginative thought and you can do that with them for your own gaming, they are pretty clearly Percussion cap rifles, what’s more I found out tha...
Oh, WOW... 😍 😱 I'm depressed... a great modeller and painter... I throw myself into the dust...
@Yronimos Whateley Pfft, at that price pre-paints are cheaper🤣.
@JTam ... and create a streaming service with limited content, that takes money... and help run FLGS’s into the ground, that takes money.... and fight numerous lawsuits, that takes mone...

Actually guys, after mulling it over, I think WA should go in a more 19th century plus swords and sorcery direction with a light gothic and steampunk touches thrown in with these 2 ideas and actual...
@Geoff Maybury REF: How about "The Eisenkern Panzerjager Antitank Rifle is a semiautomatic, shoulder fired, drum feed, chambered in 25mm. It is feed from a 6 round drum and ...
@Frank Reischmann You were not exaggerating, that's a great link/incredible project. Huge shame most of the pictures are gone. What remains is truly impressive.
@Steven StGeorges I was aware of that. I started collecting Sisters as allies as soon as that 2nd Edition Sister's codex came out. The second edition Sisters metal minis s...
@Blutze Reference: Here I'll defend GW a little. Comparing GW and WGA pricing is not completely fair. GW has and continues to develop a giant universe/IP. This takes m...
@Steven StGeorges I like the Hobgrotz a lot. I see them pretty frequently on Ebay. 10 for $10 or $20 for 20... but occasionally I see a 20 for $10 as well. The 00's dark eldar... are pretty painful...
@William Redford As I said somewhere else, I do really enjoy nowadays GW models cause of the quality of the sculpt and the fact technology is able to produce armies we were waiting for decad...
@Steven StGeorges I really like a lot of what GW makes... and still pick up stuff occasionally. The last that I bought personally new was a slaanesh start collecting box, and a slaanesh vs Khorne b...
