Someone earlier listed U.S. Marines. I second that suggestion, but ask if the figures are molded in Army uniforms. Although if they were in Marine tunics, it wouldn't be that difficult to carve awa...

this sounds like a great idea, especially the upgrade set. the army builders for decline and fall will probably have seperate arms, so future napoleonics would probaly be the same.
Voted for Successor i.e. Hellenistic period.Overlooked because everything in the part of the Ancient period seems to fall under Roman or Rome vs Carthage shadow but there is very large range of pos...
@Grumpy Gnome Yes,! That's exactly what I would imagine from a "creatures of the night" kit. I think it could be useful for skirmish wargames (something along the line of rangers of shadow deep) or...
@BS Kitbasher The attraction is the above picture ;) Works with Mordian / Front Rank Fire! type doctrines.
@Tom Vananderoye I can see some folks liking army Builder boxes for Seven Years War European armies. Not for me mind you but I can see where there might be some demand. I just prefer French an...
@Riccardo Improta An updated version of the old GW vermin sprue?
While I would find the separated arm much more attractive for kitbashing purposes, I don't see the attraction of all marching laser rifle troops.
5. Partizans. More numerous and more active than their French equivalents they fought the cruelest of wars. https://youtu.be/HfCFwbuYgyY (Above link vaguely NSFW) Come a...
Here is a little group photo of everything I've finished since '21 November, no waiting for bases, new boxes and motivation :) :
Zombies are a staple of fantasy and I wouldn't be surprised to see them. My problems though are: - Many other maufacturers make excellent zombies.- People intent on zombies might just want dozens ...
And there is no reason to not make as many as half of those zombies women. Most zombies come from the civilian population. But please don't get styalized on any of the clothing. Keep it neutral rag...
Only one thing to say really "GGGGOOD MORNING VIETNAM" This sure needs the Wargame Atlantic style, and finish.
@Brian Van De Walker Using bolt action for sci-fi? Wouldn't have thought of that but you did give me an idea there. I think I am going to Crossfire instead. Planned to use it for the World A...
@Grumpy Gnome I thinkt he European theater would benefit from some army builder boxes in the vein of the Prussian Reserves box WA did.
@JTam Perry does plastic ACW Zouaves.
Thanks for this
@Tim Seasholtz well it is showing its age, but I wouldn't say its bad.
Zombies seem like a no brainer to me, pardon the pun. Yes, there are other zombies out there but a zombie kit from WA which would be sure to scale correctly with their other kits would be br...
I voted Seven Years War but like @Brian Van De Walker I think India and America (French and Indian War) would be the best place to start. @JTam Perry makes good plastic Zouaves. I have a...
@JTam Sd Kfz 250 could definitely work. It is a little bigger than the FT-17 or Bren Carrier but I think it would still be small enough to fit the "skirmish" game size. And all those w...
4. Soviet Naval Infantry. Believe one kit could cover WW1 and WW2 much like the WGA French Infantry Kit. The cracker jack uniform and hat changed little or not at all from WW1 to WW2. ...
3. Soviet Infantry in Amoeba suits. In truth I think this kit could cover RKKA Soldiers in all their camouflage suits, winter suits, and maybe Finns. Bear in mind whole units of s...
2. Early War summer uniform RKKA Infantry is another gap. The Warlord kit has a mix of summer and winter bodies. An all M35 tunic kit would be welcome. Should include some S...
I think you should think about a box of 30 strait zombies. Zombies are always one of those things in gaming that you need a lot of. #1- I've never seen a Necromunda campaign go down where at some ...
Part 3: Gaps: 1. The most obvious gap is late war RKKA Infantry in M43 uniforms. From Kursk, to Bagration, to the end of the war this is what you want. Set should inc...
Part 2: What is available in plastic 1. Warlord Games "Soviet Infantry Box Set." Represents early to mid war RKKA Infantry. The Soldiers depicted wear M35 tunics or teliogriekas...
Part 1: Major Uniforms of the Worker's and Peasant's Red Army (RKKA) aka Soviet Army: (This section on uniforms and equipment is to allow a shared understanding and vocabulary for further discuss...
The Grumpy Gnome started the excellent "Suggestions For New WW2 Kits" here: https://wargamesatlantic.com/community/xenforum/topic/44399/suggestions-for-new-ww2-kits The intent of this thread is t...
I joined just to take part in this poll. I said 'successors' but was tempted by 'earlier roman' stuff. In all honesty though, I'd love to see either some Sea Peoples like the sherden to co...
Could you do us a favor and post a close up shot of one the WGA French Infantry next to your FT17? What scale is your FT17? Thanks!
What about mid-century European wars? There are the Italian Wars of Independence (esp. 1859), Austro-Prussian(1866) and Franco-Prussian (187l) Wars?
@William Ings This would be insta buy from me (from local shop tho).
I'm most likely not remembering the army builder part properly (Grognard / Old Guard) I personally am more of a collector then a gamer. So Army Builders are a welcome edition regardless of game sy...
I have no idea why you assume there is an army builder since 24 to 30 a box is actually more than enough normally for most sci-fi games outside of WH40k, was there an announcement I missed? ...
@Brian Van De Walker I would include one or two robed/caped torsos and head options to cover any range of holymen, spell casters and nobles for the corresponding time period in what I would dub a H...
@Corwen Broch I would call the Warlord range complete but not good.
Bonus points if the laser rifles vaguely look like this:
So, that's an awkward thread title. But the idea is this: Seperate the left rifle arm into another piece on the sprue. This of course slows down the build process but gives increas...
I see you went in with no half measures! Awesome. Like the second "army" shot.
Does anyone make plastic 28mm Zouves?
Vietnam has been long overlook for wargaming at 28mm plastic range. There is so much variety/levels that can be played for this significant event.
Napoleon in Egypt might be an option for plastic, perhaps more for the Mamelukes than the French, the French had smaller forces so not too bad fielding them in metal (I like the Dixon range) but ho...
Tartars might be an option, basic hairy horse archers that would be usable for 1500-1800, but with a few optional bits (heads/hats) might be useful earlier. Also would like to see Ottoman Turks. P...
@Hudson Adams Rubicon are releasing their Vietnam range this year, would be great to have a selection of figures from are mix of manufacturers to choose from. Black Sun style weird Vietnam ga...
You should stay with two seperate Boxes. For NKE you also need many Archers cause most of the Foot were Archers and archery was highly treaded in bronze age egypt society.
army builder is unlikely.
@JTam Oddly enough, when I started wargaming, Minifigs produced 2 sizes of horse for Napoleonics, for light cavalry or heavy cavalry, the heavies were noticeably bigger and the lights tended to be...
