Finished up some platoon command for the French. I figure the classic hand up was the way to go with the first command section. I try and paint ten models at a time so I had a secon...

Yronimos if its for 25mm to 28mm figures look on E-bey for Flash and Bucks Hair wash space craft, both around 5" diameter and 12" long, often seen in Bing photos of both. Took me 4 year...
We have moved house four times, each time for a while, some thing gets lost, or goes missing. Saddly never seen again ,three years ago we moved here our last move. Real life messed up my hobb...
Not sure about the source of the rider, but that looks like a Reaper (Bones?) Axebeak. Great work, it looks totally natural and convincing! :)
You too! Toys are an under-rated source of stuff to work with for this sort of thing! (I've been trying to track down something that might work for an old-fashioned "Flash Gordon"/"Buck Roge...
They're missing the dark eye shadow. :-D
They look great, planning on using these as levies for a Rohan army
What did you do with the extra officers?
I would like the robots, drones, and the Alien style troopers shown, to be set in 156th, as with the modern set, game play would be off the scale, one of the guns viewed was like the Austraili...
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you both. Don`t forget toys if it`s pure Si/Fi or Fantasy, if its your scratch thing, no problem. With those scales or others, just tie the build to the right scale1/56th, b...
You can currently find some Project Z (based on the old Wargames Factory sculpts) on eBay.com, Ebay.co.uk and EBay.de. I have been trying to decide if any of them are worth getting for yet another ...
Pretty exciting stuff, particularly the moderns.
I think the cane was being held by someone in what looked like a civilian's suit from some time in the 20th century, so if a mage, it would be a modern one - which sounds like a cool idea to me! :)...
That one in the front looks a bit like a beret worn in an unusual, individualistic manner rather than one of the actual fez style hats the other two have... and those two do not look identical to e...
@Geoff Maybury Happy New Year, and a pleasure to meet you too! @Yronimos Whateley Yet again I find myself agreeing with you.
As always in this sort of thing, a lot depends on how loose your tolerance for anachronisms and other small inaccuracies is,but to my eye, it's probably close enough to pass. For my part, at ...
"...Robots and Drones from now to the future, and Survival accessories Tents , Freezer boxes, Food Boxes, Ammo Boxes, every thing that a survivor carrys on his vehicle...." I really like the idea ...
There are 8 Senegalese Tirailleur prisoners in this photo. Five are wearing helmets, and three have the fezzes -- all of which appear to be dark colored (red) rather than light colored khaki.
Might it be possible to use spare heads, weapons, and equipment from the Wargames Atlantic WW1/WW2 French box with the soon-to-be released WW2 Italian box? I'd like to convert the Italians into Fre...
This set looks to be as good as the Dark Ages Irish box. Lots and lots of options for building a variety of units. And the spare parts come in handy for other projects too. My hat's off to the WA c...
Looks like a great set that will come in very useful for a lot of different projects!
Thanks for the update! Keep up the good work.
@William Redford this is a great idea to get the main bulk of a Empire army started.
I'm working on Kings of War for now (Persians and Halflings), but I hope to build a 40k force when I can afford it
@Brian Van De Walker if they came with some saddles and generic legas, you could put a any torso you liked on them.
I don't have the kit, but I believe the ones shown are on 50mm bases. I think they said this on FB, but I agree it would be useful information in the product description.
@Yronimos Whateley best post in this tread, love your ideia.
@Grumpy Gnome I was thinking about a kit with Terror Birds with saddles and some miscelaneous accesseries, for various ages. A bit like the spider kit. If it came with various legs, anyone, even m...
First shots from the factory floor!
@Sam Bellamy I like the plan. I'm really looking forward to seeing your progress. Also, the other stuff you have posted is really good looking.
@Geoff Maybury If you're talking about the old Wargames Factory line, Warlord is doing a limmited run under their Project Z. However, they seem to pricey for my taste.
It looks as though W.A. is going to run with a lot of Marks original models. and add the missing the Russian and the Shadowkesh to name two now at 1/56th scale they are far more disirable.
I wonder if the cane is a mage?
@Yronimos Whateley Hi mate was this the exercise that troops refered to as "zombie" as in a possible drug that makes the person harder to kill. and not dead and back to life. "Ragers" as oppo...
@Yronimos Whateley Your list is brilliant and if it ever did see partial light of day, it would be grand for Shadowrun. Not to mention the Nevers TV.
I`m in limbow at this moment ran out of W.F. moderns and there American Infantry. Now waiting to see W.A. modern range and start kit bashing again.
@Grumpy Gnome A Gnome affter my own heart civilians W.F. mixed with W.F. American infantry to make my favourite a WW2 modern day conservation group with Rubicon Vehicles perfect for any Si/Fi event...
Ah the far horizon, never reached dream of consistent scale. I hear you mate... I really do. I was recently shaking my head at the size disparity between a 28mm Perry M1 Garand and a 28mm Warlord G...
@Stilton Disco Actually that's why i asked "What base sizes are on shop images?"

Hi`all, I `m slowly comming back to the world of wargaming and modelling. The real world gave us all a bit of a kicking last couple of years. Possible that at 67 years young I might be ...
I may be one of the oldest modellers/wargamers here on this forum, I`m 67 years young, I like all aspects of wargaming from real, to Si/Fi ,through to fantasy. I owned and play Twilight 2000, Morro...

Spot on with the Time Bandits aesthetic.... I love that.
@Jonovious thanks!
@Forrest Wentworth my idea is to base the size of the company on WWI France for these, like I have based the comany of my WWI germans on WWI Germany. This means that the french company consists of f...
