@BS Kitbasher good point actually.
@BS Kitbasher good point actually.
She as one solo head light , shown on the box and in photos, but not included so I`ll scource that, put it between the spare wheels, and fit the second. She really is a great kit, I want her in the...
So many different comments on the smoke chargers wheter the were fitted or not so I`m studing photos and going with the max.
I`ve just put the first oil and grime wash on the old girl.
First real modeling I`ve done in two years, and god, never realised how much I missed it.
I don't understand everyone asking for metal historical ranges to be made in multipart plastic *as a partnership with another manufacturer*. It's not like metal historical company owns the IP...
@JTam The Current one is Cycle of Earth, The One I looked at was Gates of Jigoku. The Link for gates is above. I didnt back as 35mm is a bit too large to fit in with most of my collection. 35mm is...
First, a small preamble. I see this forum as a safe place, where some of you may understand the following text. I do not write this for piety, to make myself look good, or whatever. I am no hero, n...
@William Redford Those would be some big zombies than. This Kickstarter says 18 days to go?
@JTam "Okko Chronicles miniatures are on average 35mm in height. This scale is based on the height to the eyes of an adult human character. Some miniatures will be much larger, while others w...
I can't find the scale of the included minis... But if they are 28mm here's a nice way to add more fantastical elements. You know, like Zombie Samurai.
Another vote for The Assault Group. Their metal Ottomans look great and are from the best (IMHO) period, but I would much prefer a multi-part plastic kit.
Got my treasure too.
Khurasan Miniatures has some 28mm stuff that would be nice in plastic. I's also like to see some of their 15mm stuff upscaled.
Onslaught Miniatures 6mm Infantry and vehicle line in plastic would be awesome.
@Spectresghost Good call on the Crocodile (War Gods). It's a nice miniature line. Like their Amazons.
@Yronimos Whateley 6mm is small, no doubt. But you might be pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail they can have.
54mm is also seen used in some skirmish games. Probably most famously, Inquisitor. I also remember a Wargames Illustrated article where someone was doing big Hoplite battles in 54mm - ...
GZG or Crocodile (War Gods) would be my first choices.
i'll be honest no idea. i assume they will be different in equipment to some degree. they could also just play close to the same. i'd guess grognards have the heavy equipment set, and maybe bulldog...
What do you suppose the difference between the Bulldogs and Grognards will be on the actual battlefield? It seems to me that Einjar will likely be tough guys that get in close and just keep ...
Looks like: PKM Maybe Dragunov. &nb...
@Yronimos Whateley yeah the first bit is just kinda business. as for how it applies to the hex scenery it failed for a different reason. they over-expanded and did a lot of licensed products and it...
I think the most common hurdles are economic matters: do enough people buy the product, to make up the expense of producing it? Sometimes, that comes down to bad implementation, or bad...
Thanks for the corrections! I should note that I do almost no gaming outside of 28mm, most of the rest was in games where no scale in particular was mentioned ("Pirates of the Spanish Main", ...
I got some goblins and the death fields upgrade sprue. I kit bashed them a bit and changed the skin color to red and now I have a fairly interesting set of space goblins
@Brian Van De Walker - the relatively skimpy selection of fantasy/melee options is exactly what I had in mind. It's not a deal-breaker for me: the lizard-men set is still one of m...
@Hudson Adams May I ask what the differences are going to be between standard boxes of figures and Army Builder sets?

@Caratacus I think the Samurai KS was supposed to start sooner but they delayed it stating they wanted to deliver the Dwarves first... I wonder what they will do if the dwarves now are delayed pas...
you mention terrain in your speculation what I would really like is some hexagon locking tiles like heroscapes did before they went under. if they shrink them into roughly the 25 millimeter size th...
I certainly hope they get on and finish the Dwarves before they release these, I personally found the Dwarves to have way more potential.
My votes would be Ground Zero Games updated to true 28mm and Anvil Industries. Pig Iron do also very interesting ranges that would be awesome in hard plastic!
Looking good, and good to see that they can be easily kitbashed with other sets.
@Caratacus Being of Welsh ancestral heritage and having lived in North Wales for a decade all things Welsh capture my attention. The “barefoot” and “barelegged”...
@BS Kitbasher I imagine the Mamukill charging at the fields of Pelennor. (Lasercast, from whom the first two pictures come, is actually planning to create some large elephant/mammoth in the future)
Frostgrave has half-giants now as well. I think there is a market for giants of all sizes but guessing how many of each will sell is difficult. It really depends on how well the aesthetics of the...
I am surprised they did not fund. Hopefully they will listen to feedback and reorganize the relaunch. As for Reaper Bones... Mrs. GG and I are big fans. The quality has steadily improved and we wi...
@William Redford we need face reacts😆
@JTam Actually I think its like GG said they need a fresh KS to fix the miss steps problems. That and shipping is high.

@Ethan Gilbert To me the muskets actually made it the go to "non-human Sludge army" core set recommend, and "guns and magic" games like Sludge are actually becoming more common both for...
Those are almost adorable, like armies of Weebuls marching off to war. I imagine they make chittering little meepmeepmeep noises as they kill and die.
General Peter Conover Haines: Only man known to have served in the American Civil War and the First World War (at 77). Impressive combat record in the Civil War. https://sofrep.com...
@Yronimos Whateley It is indeed. A little more info on the last of the Civil War vets. https://www.wearethemighty.com/mighty-trending/combat-vets-of-civil-war/
@Simon Boulton @Steffen Seitter Well I guess I might be exaggerating a bit with that comparison but archers would still be fairly uncommon and elite type unite in most of Europe ...
