We use a lot of different trees from different manufacturers. Our favorite is Dwarven Forge bit they are expensive.  Mrs. GG painted up some of our Citadel Games Workshop trees. I painted up ...

The factory paint is not as good as in those photos so I have some work ahead of me.

How alien do you want the heads to look?  If you just want them a bit off and ugly, you could use heads from Fireforge's Steppe Warriors, Frostgrave's Cultists, or a similarly rough, heroic sc...

We got lucky and won some Ziterdes foam terrain trenches for a fraction of what they cost new. I would really struggle to justify their normal retail price with our budget.
